Ferguson, Sr. and Virginia Suber Ferguson. A 1971 graduate of Abbeville High School, Sis served as color guard captain of the Abbeville Grenadier Band, having won multiple state and national band championships. She was a student at Lottie Jean\u2019s School of Dance for over 17 years.<\/p>\n<p>Sis received her degree in respiratory therapy and was employed as a respiratory therapist around the state of South Carolina for numerous years. Before continuing her education, she managed the dining room of the Belmont Inn with a disciplined staff, which included her nieces. Sis dedicated many years during the 1990s to the Abbeville Grenadier Band sharing her talents as the color guard director. She later earned her Bachelor of Science degree in History from Lander University in 2000, as well as her Juris Doctor in 2003 from Appalachian School of Law in Grundy, VA.<\/p>\n<p>Cindy and her husband, Ernie, both graduated from Full Gospel Bible Institute in Richlands, VA, where they were co-valedictorians, then relocated back to South Carolina. From there, they entered the mission field having served for 7 years, which included time in South Africa and Liberia, West Africa. From childhood to the present time, she was a member of several local churches in the area.<\/p>\n<p>In addition to her parents, Sis was preceded in death by a brother, Tommy Ferguson.<\/p>\n<p>She is survived by her husband of 19 years, Ernie, of the home; her sister, Dawne Ferguson Hershberger (Don), of Abbeville; her brother, Fletcher W. Ferguson, Jr. (Christine), of Ocean Isle Beach, NC; a \u2018bonus daughter\u2019, Alison Ramsey, of Jonesborough, TN and her five children; her nieces, Stephanie, Jennifer, Katherine, Amanda, Melissa, and Julianne, as well as their families; and her nephews, Scott and Joey, and their families.<\/p>\n<p>Graveside services will be 2:00PM, Friday, January 26, 2024, at the home, 44 Shalom Acres, Donalds, SC 29638. While there, they invested their lives into churches and individuals throughout Liberia.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000080;\">In 2013 the Ramseys were reassigned to Southern Sudan where they served Northern Kenya and the Southern Sudan districts. Together, they were active in evangelism, teaching, preaching, and overseeing the local ministry school and clinic.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000080;\">The IPHC missionary family extends its deepest sympathies to Ernie and the extended family.
