Holly passed away Monday, May 27, 2024, at Riverside Medical Center in Virginia. Born November 17, 1942, in North Carolina, she was the daughter of the late Hollis and Pauline Painter Sigmon. She served as a pastor\u2019s wife and missionary for many years.<\/p>\n<p>In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by: Two brothers, Rev. Don Sigmon and Rev. Vernon Sigmon and a sister, JoAnn Rick.<\/p>\n<p>Left to Cherish Her Memory:<\/p>\n<p>Husband of 61 years: Rev. Larry Queen, Sr. of the home;<\/p>\n<p>Two Sons: Larry Queen, Jr and wife, Carol of Virginia and Shane Queen of Florida<\/p>\n<p>Daughter: Melinda Q. Bookman and husband, Chris of Ohio<\/p>\n<p>Four Grandchildren: Larry Queen, III, and wife Whitney, Rome Queen, Fritz Bookman and Meghan Bookman<\/p>\n<p>The family will receive friends on Saturday, June 1, 2024, from 10:00 a.m. \u2013 11:00 a.m. at Living Word Church in Maiden.<\/p>\n<p>The Graveside Service will follow on Saturday at 11:30 a.m. at Maiden City Cemetery in Maiden with Dr. Danny Penny officiating.<\/p>\n<p>Burke Mortuary in Maiden is serving the Queen family.<\/p>\n<p>\u2013 Obituary provided by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.burkemortuary.com\/obituaries\/Linda-Sigmon-Queen?obId=31657375\">Burke Mortuary<\/a>.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000080;\"><strong><em>A Note from World Missions Ministries<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000080;\">On behalf of the International Pentecostal Holiness Church World Missions Ministries family, we extend our deepest condolences to the family of Linda Queen during this time of her passing.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000080;\">Beginning in 1996, Larry and Linda Queen faithfully served World Missions as International Evangelists. As such, they were not only active in preaching and teaching stateside, but also in many different regions of the world. Together the Queen&#8217;s preached revival services, helped with church plants, visited to assist missionaries and ministries abroad, and taught the Bible everywhere they went. Their ministry took them throughout the United States and to many other countries such as Romania, Malta, France, Singapore, Indonesia, India, Burma, the Philippines, China, Thailand, Peru, and other locations around the world.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000080;\">Reports shared by the Queens often told stories of salvations as people would weep and repent, or rejoice with joy and excitement. Their reports also speak of many divine healings during their ministry; such as blind eyes opened. One story shared from Larry&#8217;s reports tells of Linda&#8217;s faith-filled prayers while visiting an orphanage in Peru.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000080;\">&#8220;One little boy at the orphanage stuttered and refused to even give his name because he could not talk,&#8221; the report shared. &#8220;When Linda laid hands on him, God instantly healed him and he was excited because he could talk as the other children.&#8221;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000080;\">We are forever grateful for the sacrificial service to the Kingdom of God displayed by ministers such as Linda Queen.
