MISSIONS GREETINGS<\/strong><\/p>\n

He is risen, and very much alive and well. I just had a talk with Him. As Hebrews 12:8 says, \u201cBut if you are without chastening, of which all have become partakers, then you are illegitimate and not sons.\u201d As a faithful Creator, He created us in His image and likeness. In loving us, He sent His only begotten to redeem us. Then, after our new birth, as a caring Father, He corrects us. It is a relationship complete. We are complete in Him!<\/p>\n

The Huichol Indigenous People<\/strong>
\nFunds were sent to help the Huichol indigenous people put up a roof on their church building. The Huichol are a mountain people group whose worship is centered around nature and superstition. Out of that group, there exists a group of Christian believers. I was recently able to meet the pastor and his wife of the local church. The Lord willing, we will be making a trip for services.<\/p>\n

The Harvest is Still Happening<\/strong>
\nPhyllis and I travel and minister in various churches around our region. Recently, during one of these church visits, 70 new believers were baptized in water. Since I did not bring a change of clothes (sometimes one just doesn\u2019t think about those things), I went to church that day dry and returned wet but blessed. Praise the Lord!<\/p>\n

We were also recently in Ensenada. The service carried a sweet presence where responsive souls wanted to connect with the Savior, and many did that day. Never doubt His desire to reach the lost.<\/p>\n

Guaymas, Sonora<\/strong>
\nOur church in Guaymas, Sonora recently suffered a damaged roof from a hurricane. With the help of the IPAR Conference, we are working to purchase building materials to repair the roof. Once finished, the people will be able to gather once again for the study of God\u2019s word and worship. Your giving acts as an extended hand to those who can\u2019t do it alone.<\/p>\n

Belize<\/strong>
\nIn July, I was in Belize where it was hot and humid. In four days, I had ten meetings. On the fifth day there was a leadership summit, and on the sixth day (Sunday) I attended a church dedication with Landmark Church from Purcell, Oklahoma.<\/p>\n

I want to give a big shout out to Pastor Justin Blankenship and the Landmark Church family. We are all very thankful this building project is now complete!<\/p>\n

New Leadership Announcement \/ Advantage Bible College<\/strong>
\nWhile we have an extension of Holmes Bible College to help with leadership training in Mexico, Belize currently lacks the ministerial development to run something similar. To help Belize, we have decided Advantage Bible University would be a good fit. WMM missionary Delaine Dimsdale has agreed to be the Director of Education. Delaine is a retired schoolteacher and has worked in Belize for years. She will be working alongside Pedro Ishim who is also a schoolteacher and one of our pastors. Pedro is the Indigenous Director for the Belize Conference. Teams working together work!<\/p>\n

Caballo Blanco Building<\/strong>
\nThe Caballo Blanco building was damaged by earthquakes and condemned by the government. Through working with the leaders there, funds were sent to help the rebuilding of the new church facility. If you ask, \u201cWhat can the GO Offering accomplish?\u201d The answer is: Projects like this one.<\/p>\n

Health Update<\/strong>
\nIn May, I was hospitalized due to a malfunctioning pacemaker. While it\u2019s a long story, I will share this\u2014When left alone with no one around, I sang a song that gave me hope titled Saved by the Blood of the Crucified One.<\/em> The verse says, \u201cMy sins are forgiven. My guilt is all gone. Give praise to the Father, the Great Three in One. Saved by the blood of the Crucified One. He Lives!\"<\/p>\n

PHYL's WORLD:<\/strong>
\nI am thankful for God\u2019s faithfulness and blessings on our family when Ron\u2019s pacemaker malfunctioned in May. I would like to express my appreciation to our daughter Amber and our son Chris who came to help support us through that dark period. We are also thankful for our friends and family on the field. They all did what the family should do. I would also like to make special mention of the peace God gave us through it all.<\/p>\n

In other news, our daughter Amber sent us this photo of our oldest grandson\u2019s first day of school. He is so cute!<\/p>\n

IN CLOSING<\/strong>
\nGoing forward, our calendar fills up fast. There are always needs wherever you look. Yet, no matter what happens, we have the Answer and the Someone we can look to and trust. I always look forward to sharing the Word.<\/p>\n

Agradecemos a las siguientes iglesias que hemos visitado por su amabilidad, calidez, hospitalidad y generosidad: la Comunidad Internacional de Cristo, los Ministerios Cristianos de Berea, Jes\u00fas es el Se\u00f1or, la Iglesia de la Ciudad Cristiana, la Cruz a la Vida, la Palabra de Vida, la Iglesia Cristiana Filipina, Springfield PH Church, Laurinburg PH Church, Woodville PH Church, Abundant Life Church, Goose Creek PH Church y Brock's Chapel. Nos sentimos honrados y encantados de testificar de la bondad y la fidelidad de Dios. \u00c9l continuamente prospera y bendice el ministerio en Tailandia y los pa\u00edses vecinos (Laos, Vietnam y Myanmar). El 23 de diciembre, 24 budistas recibieron al Se\u00f1or Jes\u00fas durante la celebraci\u00f3n de la Navidad en nuestra iglesia en Don Muang, Bangkok. El 24 y 26 de enero, el pastor Steve Willis y Jim Cox de Valley Harvest Ministries en Virginia llevaron a cabo un seminario de liderazgo en el Centro de Capacitaci\u00f3n de Misiones Indo-China (Mekong Bible Training Center) en Mae Sai con la ayuda del Pastor Chi Chang, el Pastor Big Laddawan, y los misioneros, Doug y Jill Nelson. Fue un gran seminario al que asistieron 40 l\u00edderes provenientes de Tailandia, Laos, Camboya y Myanmar. El tema de la conferencia fue \"S\u00e9 fiel\". La construcci\u00f3n de la tercera fase del dormitorio en el Centro de Capacitaci\u00f3n B\u00edblica Mekong y la cafeter\u00eda en el Seminario Teol\u00f3gico de Tailandia est\u00e1n avanzando. Ambos proyectos deben completarse para obtener mejores instalaciones y programas de discipulado efectivos para nuestros estudiantes. Agradecemos a nuestro director nacional, el Dr. Wallapa Wisawasukmongchol, por asistir a la sexta Asamblea Mundial en Chile, del 20 al 22 de febrero, para representar a Tailandia. Ella fue animada y tuvo un tiempo maravilloso con hermanos de diferentes partes del mundo. Damos gracias a Dios por su liderazgo. Tuvimos la suerte de participar en los eventos de comidas de la Gran Comisi\u00f3n de Carolina del Norte, dirigidos por Doug Bartlett, que comenzaron el 14 de febrero y se extendieron hasta el 7 de marzo (totalizando 12 reuniones). \u00a1Estas comidas estuvieron llenas de grandes personas, excelentes informes de misioneros, excelente comida, excelente compa\u00f1erismo y una gran oportunidad para que las iglesias se asocien con misioneros! Gracias a los representantes de IPHC WMM, el Dr. Terry Tramel y el Reverendo Brian Nix, por animar a las iglesias a ganar almas para Jes\u00fas en todo el mundo al apoyar a los misioneros y diferentes proyectos.
