North India's South Bihar Conference Hosts Arise in Prayer Women's Conference<\/h1>\n

- IPHC North India<\/em><\/p>\n

INDIA \u00ad\u00ad\u2014 The Arise in Prayer Women\u2019s Conference on September 18, 2025 was organised by the South Bihar Conference in the Emma Britton Law Conference Centre at Jhajha. When we arrived, the whole campus was alive with women dressed in colourful sarees arriving for the conference. We were expecting 400 prayer warriors as most of our churches in this conference are in interiors of the Bihar Jungles. We couldn\u2019t believe it when we saw all the 400 chairs had been taken even before the meeting started and women were still coming in auto rickshaws and two wheelers! By the end of the day, we had more than 800 participants!<\/p>\n

The conference began with the local women welcoming us with their traditional music and dance. The women were all so excited as this was the first time a women\u2019s gathering had been organised in the Conference level. There was much enthusiasm and joy as the women of Jhajha IPHC led us in a time of worship. Pr. Ritu Mishra, who represents South Bihar Conference as member on the Women Empowered Committee, greeted the gathering and welcomed everyone for this historic meeting. She is a humble leader and an active member of the South Bihar Conference. Pr. Sabina Soren from IPHC Patna led the entire program and managed different activities in an effective way. Michael John, Chairman, and Patras Tudu, Conference Superintendent of Santhal Pargana Conference, greeted the congregation and blessed us with their exhortations to become a House of Prayer. The Women\u2019s Empowered Committee members Jayanti Lakra, Merila Murmu, Salomi Tuti, and Rosaline John challenged the women with their passionate preaching and testimonies. We could feel the mighty presence of God moving in our midst as these women ministered. We are grateful for the leadership and support of Pr. Shantial Soren and the Conference leaders and pastors of the South Bihar Conference for encouraging women to come to seek the face of God.<\/p>\n

The day was filled with beautiful songs by the women\u2019s group from the Conference, and a powerful time of prayer and intercession for the state of Bihar and our nation for God to move in a mighty way. We prayed together for the IPHC Global faith family so that God will transform us to become a place of Hope. We truly believe that God is raising up an army of women warriors \u2013 worshippers, preachers and praying generals in IPHC at this time for a greater harvest! What we are witnessing today is a pure work of the Holy Spirit who is stirring the hearts of our people to come seek Him in a new way and lead IPHC in a new path to glory!<\/p>\n

We thank God for giving a vision to the Global IPHC family to pray. This vision has transformed IPHC India, and God is using the Women Empowered committee to take lead in taking this vision to the local church level. All the women who attended will now go back to their own churches and train their congregation to pray and intercede to fulfil the calling IPHC has from God as a global faith family. We trust that God is leading us towards seeing a day when all local IPHC churches will transform into a House of Prayer.<\/p>\n

We are grateful to Bishop Talmadge Gardner and World Mission Ministries for training us and helping us catch this vision and move in faith to see great things happen as we serve people and lead them towards their true shepherd.<\/p>\n

SEMBRANDO Y CEGANDO EN CAMBOYA<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\r\nCamboya se encuentra entre los pa\u00edses m\u00e1s pobres de Asia, tanto material como espiritualmente. Han pasado cuarenta a\u00f1os desde que Pol Pot y su Khmer Rouge mataron a m\u00e1s de dos millones de personas en un intento de establecer una utop\u00eda agraria comunista, pero el legado de esos a\u00f1os del holocausto todav\u00eda se puede observar en una grave falta de infraestructura, educaci\u00f3n, oportunidades y esperanza. Menos del 1% de los camboyanos conocen a Jesucristo como Se\u00f1or y Salvador.\r\n\r\nEn septiembre, Russell ayud\u00f3 a organizar y dirigir un equipo de ministerio a Camboya para realizar una serie de cl\u00ednicas m\u00e9dicas en varias aldeas. Los miembros del equipo proced\u00edan de Carolina del Norte, Carolina del Sur, Georgia, Jap\u00f3n y Filipinas.\r\n\r\nLas condiciones eran a menudo r\u00fasticas ya que llev\u00e1bamos a cabo cl\u00ednicas en las iglesias de las aldeas. En un lugar, los funcionarios locales nos obligaron a cerrar. El gobierno budista autoritario vigila de cerca y en ocasiones restringe las actividades de los cristianos.\r\n\r\nEn otras aldeas, las autoridades enviaron polic\u00edas y m\u00e9dicos locales para observarnos, pero estos se fueron impresionados por la experiencia y la amabilidad de nuestro equipo. \u00a1Incluso se unieron al trabajo y nos invitaron a volver!\r\n\r\nLas madres j\u00f3venes estaban agradecidas de recibir vitaminas y medicamentos para las enfermedades de sus hijos, mientras que los ancianos estaban encantados de recibir anteojos para leer. Adem\u00e1s de ofrecer atenci\u00f3n m\u00e9dica b\u00e1sica y palabras de esperanza y aliento, los miembros del equipo tambi\u00e9n oraron por los pacientes que buscaron su ayuda. \u00a1La oraci\u00f3n es la mejor medicina de todas!\r\n\r\nJunto con el personal m\u00e9dico, tuvimos la bendici\u00f3n de tener un contingente de j\u00f3venes sobresalientes para ministrar a los ni\u00f1os en cada lugar. \u00a1Estamos orgullosos de decir que nuestro nieto Alex fue parte de este din\u00e1mico equipo!\r\n\r\nLos ni\u00f1os disfrutaron jugando juegos al aire libre, haciendo manualidades, escuchando historias b\u00edblicas, aprendiendo canciones del evangelio y \u00a1simplemente divirti\u00e9ndose! Lo mejor de todo es que los ni\u00f1os aprendieron a orarle a Jes\u00fas y tuvieron la oportunidad de ofrecerle sus vidas.\r\n\r\nEn a\u00f1os pasados, hemos invertido tiempo, esfuerzo y financiamiento en viajes similares, ayudando a trabajos pioneros y cavando pozos para aldeas. En este viaje, nos complaci\u00f3 especialmente ver el fruto de estas inversiones en la forma de florecer nuevas iglesias.\r\n

PUNTOS PARA LA ORACI\u00d3N<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\r\n\u2022 Ore para que las iglesias en Camboya no sean oprimidas y restringidas en sus actividades, sino que tengan libertad para adorar y difundir el evangelio.\r\n\r\n\u2022 Nuestras iglesias est\u00e1n ayudando a los j\u00f3venes en sus comunidades al ense\u00f1ar ingl\u00e9s y ofrecer capacitaci\u00f3n en computaci\u00f3n. Ore para que los j\u00f3venes est\u00e9n equipados para servir al Se\u00f1or y traer prosperidad a su naci\u00f3n.\r\n\r\n\u2022 Ore por el misionero que lidera nuestro trabajo en Camboya, el Rev. Merlen Lamanilao de Filipinas. Ore por su apoyo financiero y por su hija adolescente que pronto se graduar\u00e1 de la escuela secundaria.\r\n\r\n\u2022 Ore por los pr\u00f3ximos viajes a Tailandia y Nepal, por viajes seguros y un ministerio eficaz.\r\n\r\n\u2022 Nuestro apoyo financiero ha disminuido, lo que ha obstaculizado nuestra capacidad para viajar y ministrar.
