Thank you for all the prayers as we planned a mission journey to Reunion to train as many children\u2019s workers as possible. This was a get-to-know-you and connecting trip with the IPHC National Leader for Rodriques, Rev. Ricardo Mercure, and our host, Pastor of IPHC in Reunion, Rev. Jean-Claude Aragot. Once I arrived in Reunion, an island in the Indian Ocean and under the ownership of France, I realized nothing on this island appeared to me as an African country, being in the region of Southern Africa. It felt like being in Europe, France specifically. My French was tested indeed, and I had to brush up more to understand the people and communicate. Reunion has a population of 896,175, and only 50,000 people are Evangelical Christians. The small groups of churches are scattered, but hopefully, the churches, with their children\u2019s ministry workers, will plan to come together to be trained in child evangelism. In the future, we aim to link the churches with Soekie Krog to make a kids' worship video to encourage children to raise praises on the island.<\/p>\n

In Reunion, we met a Gospel artist, Vanessa Elizeon, an event planner who hosts many media platforms to connect with the Christian community and Reunion Fraternal. She also provided accommodation for us and hosted all our meetings. She will host the future training and can make a venue available to host 500 people. Thank God for all of this!<\/p>\n

Thank you for praying for resources. Child Evangelism Fellowship (CEF) developed 12 Devotional Booklets. These booklets were distributed in all 14 countries to help parents lead children in family devotional time. Malawi requested translation of these booklets in Chichewa. Celebrate this with me, as CEF agreed on this project! This is so exciting to have this great tool to reach more families and disciple children in Malawi. To crown the excitement, I am now close to the CEF office in Cape Town, South Africa, where I can observe the process and see it all happen. Knowing that all 12 devotional books are being translated for use as a resource in Malawi is a highlight for me. It is an answer to prayer!<\/p>\n

Praise, in the blue dress, has returned to ministry and teaching.<\/p><\/div>\n

Thank you for praying for the development of children\u2019s workers. I want to share with you my joy in one worker, Praise Sikwese Khumalo. I met her at the Guthrie Bible Training Centre many years ago. She was crying from hopelessness on the steps of the chapel. I took her home and found that she was the answer to my prayer, as I had asked the Lord to send me an interpreter. In the meantime, she was supported in finishing high school, attending Guthrie Bible Training Center, and earning her biblical knowledge certificate and child evangelism training certificate. She attended the Children\u2019s Ministry Institute and earned her diploma in children\u2019s ministry. Praise later got married and had a child, but her daughter suffered a brain injury after being dropped by another child. Praise faced more hardships when she learned of her husband\u2019s unfaithfulness in marriage, and then her daughter was taken advantage of at the age of 14 by a farm worker.<\/p>\n

Praise and I spent many hours praying through her struggling days. She eventually found encouragement in my words and returned to teaching and ministry to give her purpose again. Join me in thanking God for her recovery through her storms. The years of investment and sown seeds will produce a victorious, refined vessel for God. She is ready to impact her area in the Northern part of Malawi. Praise has laid her burdens before the Lord and trusts Him to work the good in all situations. Let\u2019s agree with her and see God\u2019s glory in her life as she serves.<\/p>\n

Currently, I am serving as a facilitator for two online courses running twice a year. The School of Missions Advocacy (SOMA) started in early September with 100 students and will end in December. The University of the Nations accredits this course. Learn more about the program at globalcastresources.com\/training. The course challenges students to take their place in the Great Commission and to mobilize missions in their home, church, community, and nation.<\/p>\n

The NEXT STEP course begins October 15. It targets trainees aged 16 years and up who want to learn about God\u2019s Mission and how to take the first steps in mission work. Learn more at courses.disciplemakersincrease.org\/p\/next-steps.<\/p>\n

Then, every third Saturday, families and children worldwide meet on Zoom to pray for unreached people groups. Pray for the next missions journeys. I am currently recovering from a knee injury and caring for my daughter after her heart surgery, but ministry continues. In my absence, Soekie, our musician, and her daughter will be traveling to Musina in October and Namibia in November to record a Kids' Prayer Album. Also, pray with me for plans coming together to train in Lesotho from February 19 through March 2.\u00a0 I also plan to travel to Reunion in March and Zanzibar in August.<\/p>\n

\u00a1Diciembre es una \u00e9poca de celebraci\u00f3n de por qu\u00e9 naci\u00f3 Cristo! Les deseo a ustedes y a sus familias una temporada bendecida de celebraciones. Que su unidad en la fe aumente y se fortalezca al expresar nuestro agradecimiento por la vida de Cristo, demostrando el amor de Dios por nosotros. Naci\u00f3 el salvador del mundo, y mientras se cuenta esta historia, recemos juntos para que, en esta temporada, muchos m\u00e1s lleguen a la salvaci\u00f3n. <\/p>

En el Hospital Ortop\u00e9dico Infantil Cure en Blantyre-Malawi, los ni\u00f1os escucharon una lecci\u00f3n sobre el tema, "Cristo naci\u00f3 para salvarme" de Mateo 1: 18-24. Antes de dejar a los ni\u00f1os, cada uno recibi\u00f3 una Biblia para ni\u00f1os en su propio idioma, el chichewa. Oren mientras estos ni\u00f1os llevan las buenas noticias a su pueblo. Diciembre es un buen mes para unir a los j\u00f3venes. El reverendo Joe Delport, director regional para \u00c1frica del Sur, plane\u00f3 con el equipo de The Awakening hacer exactamente eso. De ocho naciones, los j\u00f3venes se reunieron en Zambia con los l\u00edderes nacionales de sus pa\u00edses. El objetivo era buscar a Dios, ser empoderado por Dios, para que sus planes nacieran con una estrategia de pasi\u00f3n que se abrazara para el trabajo de la Gran Comisi\u00f3n, y para que los j\u00f3venes se alzaran listos para la responsabilidad y el liderazgo. <\/p>

Dios quiere hacer algo a trav\u00e9s de sus vasos. Necesitamos restaurar el altar y entregarnos como una bebida, devolviendo todos nuestros corazones a \u00c9l. Un gran avance es la promesa. Al principio podemos ver solo una peque\u00f1a nube del tama\u00f1o de un pu\u00f1o, pero realmente, deber\u00edamos ver una inundaci\u00f3n como Elijah que se desatar\u00e1. \u00a1Dios est\u00e1 listo para construir a su pueblo como una virgen de Israel para dar a luz a lo que le dar\u00e1 gloria a Dios! Alegr\u00e9monos mientras Dios trabaja en su pueblo para la preparaci\u00f3n de esta temporada espiritual para inundar la tierra con su gloria. <\/p>

Los l\u00edderes de cada naci\u00f3n para el IPHC son claves fundamentales que ayudan a las iglesias a desarrollar ministerios efectivos para los ni\u00f1os con programas para involucrar a los ni\u00f1os en actividades de divulgaci\u00f3n, misiones y oraciones por grupos de personas no alcanzadas. El reverendo Joe Delport est\u00e1 ayudando a llevar estos folletos a los l\u00edderes para que adopten los ministerios de desarrollo de estrategias y fruct\u00edferos para los ni\u00f1os. Tambi\u00e9n ser\u00e1n dirigidos al siguiente sitio web para obtener recursos: WWW.WAKNET.COM. Ore, ya que el enfoque de los l\u00edderes el pr\u00f3ximo a\u00f1o estar\u00e1 en que cada naci\u00f3n desarrolle un plan de desarrollo del ministerio de ni\u00f1os. Pasar\u00e9 esta Navidad en Malawi, \u00c1frica Central, donde estoy radicado por ahora. Luego me preparar\u00e9 para mi vuelo de Malawi a Mauricio. Pasar\u00e9 tiempo en Mauricio durante parte de enero y febrero de 2020 para trabajar con estudiantes que fueron capacitados durante septiembre de 2019. Luego, en la ciudad capital, un grupo de iglesias reci\u00e9n establecido quiere estar equipado para llegar a los ni\u00f1os de la comunidad. Este ser\u00e1 el momento adecuado para comenzar a escribir la doctrina b\u00edblica de los ni\u00f1os, y ver c\u00f3mo los ni\u00f1os responden a la lectura y el uso del recurso para construir verdades b\u00edblicas fuertes y desarrollar un sistema de creencias que los proteja contra la falsa doctrina. <\/p>

Que este a\u00f1o sea una gran temporada de cosecha. Que Dios nos use como un equipo de la Gran Comisi\u00f3n para alcanzar sus metas. Mantengo mi coraz\u00f3n centrado en Su voluntad (Mateo 18:14), porque no es la voluntad de nuestro padre celestial que ninguno de estos peque\u00f1os se pierda. <\/p>

\u2022 Agradezca a Dios por los j\u00f3venes del sur de \u00c1frica que asistieron a la conferencia The Awakening para surgir y guiar apasionadamente a sus grupos a desarrollar iglesias relevantes en sus comunidades, llegando a j\u00f3venes y ni\u00f1os mientras crecen como l\u00edderes estrat\u00e9gicos. <\/p>

\u2022 Ore por el trabajo en Mauricio, y que Dios abra las mentes y los corazones para llegar a los ni\u00f1os de la comunidad en Port Lois, la capital. <\/p>

\u2022 Ore para que los plantadores de iglesias se levanten y planten m\u00e1s iglesias en Mauricio. <\/p>

\u2022 Ore por los l\u00edderes nacionales, quienes compartir\u00e1n informaci\u00f3n que har\u00e1 crecer l\u00edderes apasionados del ministerio en iglesias y crecer\u00e1n las iglesias con un enfoque en las misiones. <\/p>
