June 17 marked five years since my husband was called home to be with the Lord. Looking back on that season, I could never have imagined the miracles God had in store for me. From providing the financial support needed to pay hospital bills totaling thousands of dollars to enabling me to return to the mission field and continue serving in the calling He gave me, the Lord has been faithful every step of the way.<\/div>\n
\nYet the greatest demonstration of His faithfulness has been the privilege of serving Him on levels I never imagined. God has used my life as a mentor, allowing me to provide counsel and discipleship in ways that have expanded far beyond what I expected and have impacted the lives of others. What for many might have been the end of ministry and the beginning of a life marked by discouragement and bitterness has instead become an opportunity to testify to what God can do when we trust Him and walk in obedience. After all, that is what He asks of each of us in every circumstance we face.<\/div>\n

Ministry Activities<\/strong><\/div>\n
I continue preparing for the launch of\u00a0Lulu's House<\/strong>. At this stage, I must wait until sufficient funds are available to rent a suitable facility. In the meantime, I am focusing on building the ministry team and learning about the legal requirements for beginning operations. A similar ministry once existed in Brussels but was unable to continue because of legal and logistical challenges. I ask for your prayers that God will guide every step of this project and open the right doors at the right time.<\/div>\n
\nIn the past, I had the privilege of helping my husband establish several ministries: the evangelistic caf\u00e9 \u201cLe Phare<\/strong>\u201d, where thousands heard the Gospel;\u00a0Logos Bible School<\/strong>, where dozens were trained for ministry and more than twenty churches were planted; the various churches we established together; and the government registration of the\u00a0IPHC<\/strong>, the organization that sent us as missionaries and has faithfully supported us throughout the years.<\/div>\n
\nNow that my husband is no longer with us, this would be the first ministry God is allowing me to launch on my own.\u00a0The Hub,<\/strong>\u00a0a ministry designed to help those struggling with addiction and mental health challenges, is another project currently waiting to move forward. As with Lulu's House, the main obstacles are finances and the gathering of a capable ministry team. Your prayers are a vital form of support, helping ensure that everything is accomplished according to God's timing and His perfect plan.<\/div>\n

Ministry at The Oasis Center<\/strong><\/div>\n
Among our regular activities, the intense heat we have been experiencing continues to provide opportunities to offer ice cream to the ladies of the red-light district, which they receive with great joy. We are also concluding our devotional series based on\u00a0The Chosen<\/em>. Afterward, the Oasis Center will close for the month of August and reopen in September. When we return, we will begin a new series of devotionals based on the Book of Acts.<\/div>\n

Church Activities<\/strong><\/div>\n

Our church has experienced numerical growth recently, although this time it has come through the birth of three beautiful babies who have brought great joy to their families. May God richly bless these little ones as they grow.<\/p><\/div>\n

\nThe Wednesday study on the Ten Commandments is also coming to an end. I will be seeking the Lord's direction regarding our next topic of study. This series has encouraged several people to pursue a life of obedience, and some have even requested water baptism. May God continue to work in hearts and bring spiritual growth as people desire to follow Him more closely.<\/div>\n

Personal Update<\/strong><\/div>\n
This month, I will be attending the IPHC General Conference in Mobile, Alabama. During this gathering, a new Board of Directors will be elected. Please join me in praying that God will place the right people in every leadership position so that the work of the Kingdom may continue to advance faithfully and effectively.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

As I close this month's newsletter, I want to remind you that we serve a great God who is able to bring beauty from ashes and restore what seems impossible. Your faithful prayers and support make it possible for me to continue the work God has called me to do. Thank you for standing with me and being part of all that He is accomplishing.<\/div>\n

EL PROGRESO DEL TRABAJO EN EL CAMPO DE LA MISI\u00d3N<\/span> <\/h3>

He supervisado el trabajo de perforar un pozo en una de nuestras iglesias de PH en una comunidad llamada Mvumi. Esta iglesia est\u00e1 en una comunidad donde el agua es un bien escaso. Normalmente compran agua en cubos. Estaban muy contentos y agradecidos por el agua limpia. Gracias, Rev. Lloyd Ackerman, y los santos de la Unidad Christian Fellowship Church por apoyar este proyecto. <\/p>

La iglesia de Mvumi no ten\u00eda paredes cuando Mrema se fue a su casa, pero comenzamos los trabajos de construcci\u00f3n en febrero, y ahora las paredes est\u00e1n levantadas. \u00a1Gloria a Dios!
