New Year<\/p>\n
We open the New Year with a warm and gracious \u201cThank You\u201d to all of our partners over the past 30 years who continue to join with us in sharing the Good News of Jesus Christ and in training and equipping others to be more effective in their witness.<\/p>\n
We can say with the psalmist David, “The lines have fallen to us in pleasant places\u2026In His presence is fullness of joy; in His right hand there are pleasures forever” (Psalm 16:6, 11). Though 2015 was not a year without tears and pain and struggles, it was a year in which we were very much aware of God\u2019s presence and blessings with us.<\/p>\n
Remy continues to be strong and healthy. Since completing her chemo sessions in April 2015, she has had opportunities to preach in various churches at least once a month\u2026 this in addition to sharing her faith with other cancer patients and praying and encouraging them.<\/p>\n
Remy has just completed the 13th of the 18 cycles of Herceptin. This was possible because so many of you gave generously to help meet the financial need and because the pharmaceutical company, Roche, was willing to donate half the vials of medication needed. God does work in astounding ways to meet the needs of His children. By the end of April 2016, she will have completed all 18 cycles.<\/p>\n
Ethan preached his first sermon in December at a youth Christmas gathering in Tarlac. He has just finished his 3rd quarter exams and has done really well. He had the highest score in his class in Math and Social Studies and 2nd highest in English. He continues to do very well in Filipino and Chinese. He is looking forward to March 13th when he will be 14 years old and to the summer school break which also begins in March. He will be in the 8th grade when the new school year opens in June. He is now as tall as his dad and still growing.<\/p>\n
By the time this newsletter reaches you the issue with Natanya\u2019s birth certificate should be completed and new progress on the adoption begun. Please pray with us that God will grant us favor and we will be able to finalize the adoption quickly.
\nDouglas was able to spend 10 days in Hyderabad, India during November. It had been about 12 years since he was last there. It felt like a homecoming. He had the privilege of teaching 25-30 students on the topic \u201cCalled to Serve.\u201d<\/p>\n
We believe that 2016 is going to provide greater opportunities for ministry and that we will be able to accomplish goals that we were unable to accomplish in 2015.<\/p>\n

Podemos decir con el salmista David, "Las l\u00edneas han descendido a nosotros en lugares agradables ... en su presencia hay plenitud de gozo; en su mano derecha hay placeres para siempre" (Salmo 16: 6, 11). Aunque 2015 no fue un a\u00f1o sin l\u00e1grimas y el dolor y luchas, que fue un a\u00f1o en el que en gran medida de que eran conscientes de la presencia y las bendiciones de Dios con nosotros. Remy sigue siendo fuerte y saludable. Desde la conclusi\u00f3n de sus sesiones de quimioterapia en abril de 2015, ella ha tenido la oportunidad de predicar en varias iglesias, al menos, una vez al mes ... esto adem\u00e1s de compartir su fe con otros pacientes de c\u00e1ncer y la oraci\u00f3n y anim\u00e1ndolos. Dios trabaja de maneras sorprendentes para satisfacer las necesidades de sus hijos. A finales del mes de abril de 2016, se habr\u00e1 completado los 18 ciclos. Ethan predic\u00f3 por primera vez en diciembre en una reuni\u00f3n de Navidad j\u00f3venes en Tarlac. Acaba de terminar sus ex\u00e1menes 3er trimestre y ha hecho muy bien. \u00c9l ten\u00eda la puntuaci\u00f3n m\u00e1s alta en su clase en matem\u00e1ticas y estudios sociales y segundo m\u00e1s alto en Ingl\u00e9s. \u00c9l sigue haciendo muy bien en filipinos y chinos. Se est\u00e1 a la espera al 13 de marzo, cuando tendr\u00e1 14 a\u00f1os de edad y para las vacaciones de la escuela de verano que tambi\u00e9n comienza en marzo. \u00c9l estar\u00e1 en el 8\u00ba grado, cuando el nuevo a\u00f1o escolar se abre en junio. Ahora es tan alto como su padre y sigue creciendo. En el momento en que llega a este bolet\u00edn el problema con el certificado de nacimiento Natanya debe ser completado y nuevos avances en la adopci\u00f3n comenzado. Por favor, oren con nosotros para que Dios nos conceda a favor y seremos capaces de finalizar la adopci\u00f3n r\u00e1pida. Douglas fue capaz de pasar 10 d\u00edas en Hyderabad, India durante noviembre. Hab\u00edan pasado unos 12 a\u00f1os desde que la \u00faltima vez all\u00ed. Se sent\u00eda como un regreso a casa.
