The Horn of Africa is in the midst of a severe famine which affects Ethiopia, Kenya, Somalia, and parts of Uganda and South Sudan. An estimated 12 million people are experiencing severe food shortage, malnutrition, and related deaths.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Funds are urgently needed so we can go into refugee camps and bring food to the starving,&#8221; said People to People Ministries. The ministry also plans to distribute food in southern Ethiopia to meet the immediate needs of\u00a0IPHC\u00a0churches and their surrounding communities.<\/p>\n<p>According to Ron Wooten, Regional Coordinator for East Africa, over 50% of theIPHC&#8217;s\u00a0districts in\u00a0Keny\u00a0are experiencing life threatening\u00a0food and water shortages.
