The IPHC General Superintendent’s Office and IPHC Clergy Development are excited to announce that Dr. Mark Rutland will be teaching IPHC pastors and pastoral staff members his renowned National Institute of Christian Leadership (https://thenicl.com/). Since 1983 Dr. Rutland has spoken in numerous IPHC local churches, colleges, conferences, camp meetings, and most recently he was the opening night speaker at the 2022 IPHC General Conference in Jacksonville, Florida.
The NICL will be taught by Dr. Rutland in person at the historic First Pentecostal Holiness Church in Goldsboro, North Carolina (https://www.thefirstchurch.com/). Pastor Bill Rose has graciously opened his campus for IPHC pastors and leaders to gather in three special sessions in January, February, March, 2024.
The exact dates in 2024 are January 29-31, February 26-28, and March 18-20. In these three gatherings you will learn Change Dynamics: Organizational Definition and Balance; Strategic Growth: Directing and Leading for Quality; Transformational Management: Strategic Leadership for Growth; and Communication and Worship: Excellence in Expression.
Information about registration will be forthcoming in the next few months and you will be able to register through the General Superintendent’s Office. We are especially pleased to announce that the IPHC is taking care of all the registration and class course costs of these sessions for IPHC pastors. In addition, each pastor can bring up to three staff members at no charge. The only costs will be travel, lodging, and meals in Goldsboro. Again, more information about registration will be forthcoming to IPHC conference offices, the iphc.org website, and IPHC social media pages.
The IPHC is thankful that Dr. Rutland has made this opportunity available to us. We all know that he is one of the outstanding communicators and preachers of our generation. In addition, Rutland’s experience includes pastoring Calvary Assembly of God in Orlando, Florida, President of Southeastern University in Lakeland, Florida, and Oral Roberts University in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He founded and served as President of an international mission’s ministry, Global Servants.
