The Pacific Western Network Ministries Quadrennial Conference

May 30, 2023 Bill Terry

The Pacific Western Network Ministries Quadrennial Conference convened on Saturday morning, May 20, 2023, at the Celebration Center in Modesto, California. There were over 200 in attendance with 124 registered delegates. The conference delegation voted 70 to 51 to eliminate the statute of limitations for the conference executive council.

L to R: Bishop Stan Reynolds, Pastor Mark Hammond, Pastora Aleli Sangalang, Pastor Walter Huezo and Pastor Benjamin Waldrum

Bishop Stan Reynolds was re-elected to a 3rd term by acclamation. Pastor Mark Hammond, Assistant Superintendent, and Pastor Benjamin Waldrum, Secretary Treasurer, were also elected by acclamation.  First term board members, Pastora Aleli Sangalang and Pastor Walter Huezo, were elected on the first ballot.

Bishop Stan Reynolds presented an excellent State of the Conference report that was well received by the delegation. A conference highlight included having Bishop Reynold’s wife, Kathy, in attendance since she has battled health issues for the past eighteen months. Kathy addressed the conference and was given an extended round of applause.

The conference adopted to utilize a nominating committee for electing executive council members in the next quadrennial conference. The process was received unanimously without debate.

There were three ordained and eight who received minister’s license. There were five recognized who received their local church minister’s license. The conference also remembered three ministers who passed away over the past year.

In attendance were IPHC missionaries from the Pacific Western Network Ministries Conference. Larry and Debbie Mininger (Estonia) and Sabu Abraham (India) were given time to address the delegation.
