In the book of Matthew, chapter 21, Jesus adamantly reminds those in the temple of the identity of His Father’s house, which the prophet Isaiah first expressed in Isaiah 56. His house, His sanctuary, the place of His presence was to be a place of prayer! With that determined, ARISE IN PRAYER exists to serve the ARISE 2033 mandate by empowering all IPHC churches to become “houses of prayer for all nations!” Of course, now we know that the house of God isn’t necessarily a building or specific location, rather it’s the individual believer, carrying God’s presence with them wherever they may go. No longer a physical tabernacle, temple, or even ark, instead you and I, through the power of the Holy Spirit, are transformed into those houses of prayer! Through the grace of God, we take on the identity that Jesus spoke of: the identity of being a “house of prayer for all nations!”
One way ARISE IN PRAYER is looking to continue this transformational journey is through Regional Prayer Gatherings. In fact, we are on schedule to host three Regional Prayer Gatherings this year (listed below) so it’s not too late to take part!
Central - Oklahoma City, OK - May 22-24, 2023
East - Falcon, NC - Sep. 18-20, 2023
West - Los Angeles, CA - Nov. 13-15, 2023
Our first Prayer Gathering took place in Oklahoma City, OK. We want to take this opportunity to thank the Heartland Conference for partnering with ARISE IN PRAYER to host the Gathering at their Conference Retreat Center.
These Prayer Gatherings are, simply and profoundly, times to meet with God. James chapter 4 tells us that as we draw near to God, He draws near to us! It is with this idea that the schedule of each Prayer Gathering has been specifically designed. We are facilitating times of targeted prayer over topics like the IPHC, our 7 Prayer Declarations, ARISE 2033, personal needs and requests, global matters, and more. However, there is also intentional time built in to rest and hear from God as He speaks to us individually and as a body! Furthermore, you may like to know that Dr. Doug Small has secured the dates and will be our key speaker at all three Gatherings. Dr. Small has been an instrumental partner to IPHC and ARISE IN PRAYER, and God’s favor rests on him in the arena of teaching and leading in prayer! The bottom line is that we intend to seek God at these Regional Prayer Gatherings and desire that anyone and everyone takes the time to participate! How incredible it is to join together as the IPHC family and the body of Christ to hear from the Lord!
Registration for the upcoming Regional Prayer Gatherings will be open soon, so stay in touch with us on social media or the IPHC website. We look forward to seeing you this fall!
