Last year, some of our most popular activities at Youth Quest were our forums. We presented on practical topics that church members, leaders, and everyone in between could learn from. So we are bring them back this year. Not only are forums returning, but we are offering even more classroom style discussions called Focus Groups!
Our forums will revolve around these topics: #YQDO, #YQGO, #YQGRAD, and #YQMeet. They will focus on practical ministry for all ages, global discipleship and missions, preparing for college, and meeting the new Student Ministries Advisory Team! The forums will be interactive, giving attendees the opportunity to live tweet their questions using the above mentioned hashtags! Forums will take place on Friday July 24th at 9 and 10 am in the exhibitor hall.
Brand new for Youth Quest 2015 are our Focus Groups! They will be offered on Saturday July 25th in the Peabody Auditorium right after the morning service. If you plan on attending, be sure to bring $10 for lunch! There will be four different focus groups meeting at this time: photography (for students and leaders), relationships (for youth pastors, leaders, and parents), street evangelism (for students and leaders), and youth led worship teams (for students and leaders). We know that these are some popular topics and it’ll be hard to choose which to attend but be sure to go where your passion takes you!
We will be hosting an additional focus group entitled The Future of Student Ministries on Saturday night following the evening service. This session is ONLY for youth pastors and leaders. They will have the opportunity to meet with the Student Ministries Advisory Team to discuss the future of Youth Quest and student ministries. There is no cost to attend this focus group.
We are super excited about this year’s Forums and Focus Groups. We can’t wait to see you there!
