Annual Conference Sessions 2024

A special gathering happens each year in the IPHC conferences within the United States of America: the Annual Conference Session. According to the IPHC Manual, “the delegates of a conference meet in an Annual Conference Session to worship, fellowship, cast vision, license and ordain clergy, receive training, conduct any business necessary, and conduct other activities to further the ministry of the conference.” The conferences are a mid-level organizational body of the IPHC that “exist to empower and equip the local church.”

Presiding Bishop A.D. Beacham, Jr. and the General Superintendent’s Office in Oklahoma City designate a presiding officer for each Annual Conference Session. The presiding officer, in addition to moderating the services and business sessions, is also tasked to present the denominational emphasis for that particular year. In 2024, the emphasis is “Arise to Mission” and it’s four elements: Pray, Participate in Bible Study, Proclaim the Good News, and Practice Generosity.

This time together is always highly anticipated. While conducting the business of the year, the delegates and their families can worship and fellowship alongside their brothers and sisters in Christ of varying churches, some they may not have seen since the year before. Relationships and connections are cultivated in this memorable space.

These sessions begin as early as March, with the Red de Ministerios Conference being the first to convene. Please see the list below to note when your own conference is meeting and make plans to attend!
