Pastor Care Initiative (PCI) and Clergy Development are excited to launch the grant application process before Pastor Appreciation Month, which takes place in October. PCI field representatives will be available at IPHC events throughout the United States to help pastors apply for “Now” and “Later” grants. The “Now” grants will meet any immediate needs that the pastor may have, such as medical bills, student loans, “emergency” type necessities, etc, up to $2,000. The “Later” grants will help to position the pastor for a healthy financial future, including retirement. Both types of grants must be matched. On Friday, September 5th, the application process will open, and additional information on the Now and Later grants and the online application will be available at www.phpastor.org/pci.
