IPHC is looking forward to the 30th General Conference on July 15-17, 2026, at the Mobile Conference Center in Mobile, Alabama.
General Conference is a gathering that takes place every four years to worship, fellowship, select leaders, cast vision, adopt policies, enact legislation, receive training, and other activities that promote the mission/vision of the IPHC to fulfill the Great Commission (p.93). The General Conference voting membership plays a crucial part in this event. The voting membership is comprised of those who are licensed and ordained as part of the IPHC and laity certified by local churches to be delegates. According to the IPHC Manual, each church can send one delegate for every 25 members within the church (p.94). Local churches should begin planning for the General Conference and who they will send to represent them.
As IPHC plans for the upcoming conference, committees are already meeting and working. The Bylaws Committee for 2026, appointed by the Council of Bishops, is tasked “to review the Bylaws for any necessary amendments and to consider proposed amendments submitted to the committee in writing” (p.95). The Committee is as follows:
Chairperson: Keith Gilliam (Cornerstone Conference)
Justin Blankenship (Heartland Conference)
Bill Rose (North Carolina Conference)
Kelly Santos (Red de Ministerios)
Dave Ragan (Sonshine Network)
Tim Lamb (Lifepoint Ministries)
