The General Superintendent’s Office is honored to welcome Rev. Terry Lowder as the new Chief of Staff to the IPHC denominational offices.
Terry is originally from the east coast born in Georgia, raised in South Carolina, and attended Emmanuel College. Afterwards, he planted a church in Lexington, South Carolina, where he met and married his wife, Kendra. They will be celebrating 27 years together this August!
In 2001, Terry and Kendra moved to Oklahoma City where he became the Assistant Director of Evangelism USA (EVUSA) under the late Bishop Ronald Carpenter. He graduated in 2002 from Southwestern Christian University with a master’s degree, and later, Terry became the pastor of Northwest Christian Center.
In 2014, he was elected as the Assistant Superintendent of the Heartland Conference and continues in this capacity, while Kendra enjoys a career in real estate in Oklahoma City.
Terry is also a father to two children. His daughter, Rachel and her husband, Jacob Spencer, are currently stationed at Fort Hood, Texas, and his son, Will, just graduated high school and plans to pursue a career in real estate like his mom.
As Chief of Staff, he wants to continue being a servant to the GMC and the IPHC.
