EARTHQUAKE IN COLOMBIA
A 7.4-magnitude earthquake struck western Colombia on Monday morning, leaving a trail of destruction. The region is under a state of emergency, and the death toll has surpassed 250 as rescue efforts continue. Transportation, shipping, and communication are still limited.

Most of our IPHC churches are in northern Colombia, and we are thankful to report that they are safe and well. However, one of our IPHC congregations, Iglesia Resdiseñados in Pereira, led by Pastor Jaime and Alejandra Arroyave, is at the heart of this tragedy. They and their families are safe and did not suffer major losses. Thankfully, no church members lost their lives, although there have been severe material losses, and many people in their community have lost their homes.
Since Monday morning, Pastor Jaime and Alejandra, and their church members have been on the front lines serving their community. They have been providing food for families, helping find shelter for those who have lost their homes, removing rubble, participating in search-and-rescue efforts, and assisting their community in any way they can.
Please continue praying for Colombia, Iglesia Resdiseñados, Pastor Jaime and Alejandra, and everyone affected by this devastating earthquake.
