Multiple Quakes in Panama
On October 9th, Panama was struck by two earthquakes, one measuring magnitude 7.7 and the other 6.6. Numerous aftershocks have followed, several measuring over magnitude 5.0.
While we are pleased to hear that there are currently no reports of any deaths or missing people, hundreds of homes and schools are damaged. Please join us in praying for the people in the ten provinces and two indigenous territories impacted by the earthquakes.
Our IPHC national Leader, Cecilio Segurista, reported that at least three members of our IPHC church family in Providence, Los Santos, have experienced damage or total loss of their homes.
You can make a difference. Partner with People to People to help rebuild these families' homes by donating to our Overseas Disaster Relief project, 09055D.
