What we believe

Our seven core values

We prayerfully commit to affirm and express the following.

More about the IPHC →

Scripture

The Bible is God’s Word of life to the world. Through it we discern the voice and actions of God in history, learn who we worship, and learn how to live as citizens of His kingdom on earth.

Pentecost

The Holy Spirit has called us to live and walk in the Spirit. We believe all the gifts of the Spirit are active today, empowering the body of Christ to fulfill the mission of God.

Holiness

Holiness is beautiful. God chose us and set us apart for His glory, and He calls us to be holy to reveal His grace, mercy, and love to a broken world.

Christ’s Kingdom

Christ rules over all creation. By serving our communities, embracing diversity, and reaching the lost, we embody His kingdom on earth.

All Generations

Every generation is essential in the body of Christ. We honor those who have gone before us and empower those who are following.

Justice

We intercede for those who have no voice and stand with the poor, the weak, and the oppressed. We will not be silent in the face of injustice.

Generosity

All our resources are gifts from a loving God. We live gratefully based on His provision: obedient as tithers, joyful in giving, and generous in heart.
