Forward With the Gospel in India!
The 2025 Annual Conference in North India was held on the beautifully renovated Bethelgram campus, where 573 delegates were housed. Four pastors from the Appalachian Conference joined me to minister at the conference. We rejoiced to award 48 Local Minister’s Licenses, mostly to individuals who have already planted churches, and 63 Conference Minister’s Licenses to experienced pastors. We also awarded the highest credentials of Ordination to 18 individuals, including seven women.
There was much to celebrate! We honored the achievements of 30 new Bible School graduates. And we gave thanks that in the past year new IPHC works were established in five Indian states, including the remote Andaman-Nicobar islands!
Our Presiding Bishop Michael John commented: “God spoke to us in a new and powerful way through this team. The preachers poured their hearts out and brought prophetic words for IPHC North India. The atmosphere was not like the Annual Conference but rather a Spiritual Revival Meeting. The Pastors went back with rejuvenated passion to win souls, plant churches and raise leaders.”
The Annual Conference in South India was held at the historic Hyderabad campus, home of the Donald Memorial Church and the Hyderabad Bible College. Our Presiding Bishop Dr. B. S. Moses Kumar remarked: “There were over 140 delegates at the 67th Annual Conference of South India. We had a wonderful Conference with the choicest brethren from the Appalachian Conference. They did an outstanding job in ministering the Word powerfully and intimately.”
Sharing the same property is the imposing structure of Donald Memorial High School. The space in front of the building is filled every morning with uniformed children starting the day with songs and prayer. As we toured the building and grounds, we were impressed to see the quality handiwork of students displayed on the walls. The dedicated teachers here educate nearly 1,000 students from various religious backgrounds: Christian, Hindu and Muslim.
Global Outreach Offering
I am thrilled to report that the South India churches presented me with a Global Outreach offering totaling $2,080! And the North India brethren exceeded that sizable sum, with a GO offering of $5,000! Many of our church members in India earn $2 or $3 per day, yet they are eager to partner in the global ministry of IPHC through this annual offering. Let their generosity be an inspiration to us all.
Points for Prayer
• Pray for the pastors and conference leaders in India who face opposition from government officials and hostility from Hindu radicals. Pray for protection, grace and courage.
• Pray for the evangelists and church planters who travel by bicycle or motorbike to spread the gospel to unreached villages. Pray that many will respond to their message and find healing,
deliverance and salvation in Christ.
• Pray for financial provision for all the ministries in India, and humanitarian aid for those mired in poverty or suffering from natural disasters.
• Pray that God will grant wisdom, strength and provision as we serve the Lord in Asia, the most unreached area of the world.
Thank you for partnering with us to fulfill the Great Commission in Asia!
