OPPORTUNITIES ABOUND
This is such a great time of year! It’s officially Spring, and many are waiting for the fluctuation in temperatures to settle so they can finally feel confident in planting gardens. Having grown up on a farm, I often thought farmers were the most faith-filled people I knew. But many would say they are gamblers, risking their yearly resources, hoping for a harvest with an uncertain outcome.
Similarly, we encounter many who don’t understand Christ followers faithfully sowing into nations. It doesn’t matter the scale of our planting task; we are faith-filled people, too!
PEOPLE TO PEOPLE - Disaster Relief
On March 28, 2025, the people of Myanmar were hit with a massive 7.7 earthquake that demolished homes, destroyed one of our IPHC church buildings, and has reached 3,639 deaths. Various news agencies state that 6.3 million people are in need of humanitarian assistance.
Our IPHC National Leader, James Lian Sai, made sure to mention that the earthquake is not the sole issue in Myanmar, but rather an exacerbation of an already trying situation. Homelessness and food insecurity were already huge issues there. In response, we are sending money to provide food, water, clothing, bedding, and much more.
We are so thankful the city of Yangon was not affected. Many of our sponsored children live in this area, and we are thankful they are safe.
PEOPLE TO PEOPLE - Child Sponsorship
Opportunities abound to bless kids in any of the following countries through sponsorship: Bangladesh, Bhutan, Cambodia, India, Malaysia, Myanmar, Nepal, Philippines, Sri Lanka, and Thailand. I have traveled to all these countries except Bhutan. I am a witness to the impact that $25 a month has on individual lives.
Many of these nations have two things in common: 25% of the population is below 14 years of age, and only 3-5% are Christian. We have the evidence. Many pastors, church planters, teachers, missionaries, etc., are impacting nations through PTP and the prayers of all our PTP sponsors. Let’s determine that 2025 will be a record-breaking year for new sponsors investing in more nation changers.

HE IS RISEN
As we continue to celebrate our Lord’s provision for eternity, we go into all the world with the message of redemption.
2 Corinthians 9:10 (Complete Jewish Bible) says, “He who provides both seed for the planter and bread for food will supply and multiply your seed and increase the harvest of your righteousness.”
John Wesley notes:
“And he who supplieth seed - Opportunity and ability to help others.
And bread - All things needful for your own souls and bodies.
Will continually supply you with that seed, yea, multiply it to you more and more.
And increase the fruits of your righteousness - The happy effects of your love to God and man.”
Thank you, thank you, thank you for your support and prayers. May the Holy Spirit impart an inner awareness that your giving has an impact on the world. We are privileged to be part of seeing the earth filled with the knowledge of the glory of the Lord, our hope!
