SAD TIME FOR JOE’S FAMILY
Joe lost his sister, Dee, on the 27th of August to cancer. Exactly a month later, on 25th of September, he lost his Dad to cancer. It has been a trying time for the family, but the Lord has sustained them and given them strength. Joe had the privilege of ministering at both of the memorial services.
MAPUTO PROJECT
The Maputo Church Project, in Mozambique, is progressing well. The inside of the church is looking great after the tiles were laid. The church members are very proud of the developments.
TRAINING OF LOCAL CHURCH LEADERS
Joe and Ed Rhodes spent one week, every evening, training the local church leaders and some of our pastors. Ed taught on “Called to Serve God and Community.” Joe taught on “Mobilizing Your Church for Ministry.” The training had a great impact on the leaders.
CHILDREN’S MINISTRY MAPUTO, MOZAMBIQUE
We had a very successful children’s church Sunday in Maputo with over 200 children in attendance. Maggie did great challenging the children to be prepared for the onslaught of the enemy. She taught about putting on the armour of God.
A HUGE THANK YOU!!!!
No words can express our appreciation, to all our supporters, for your faithful giving to our ministry in Africa for the past 27 years. Without your commitment we would not have been able to achieve our calling and achievements. We trust the Lord will continue to bless us with many more years of service, as missionaries.
