Disaster Relief Overseas
- World Missions Ministries Communications Office
Our international brothers and sisters are in need. Over the last month, People to People Ministries (PTP), the humanitarian arm of IPHC World Missions Ministries (WMM), has become aware of various disasters affecting different countries around the world.
Burundi: In Burundi, severe flooding has caused hundreds of people to be misplaced, homeless, scared, and lacking basic necessities.
India: Similarly, following severe flooding in Manipur, India, one of our IPHC churches was severely damaged. This body of believers longs to have a place to gather again.
Myanmar: In Myanmar, Christians face daily persecution and military oppression. Recently, one of our church planters was targeted, and his family’s home was burnt to the ground. Thankfully, the family was able to flee to safety and remain in the work of the ministry, but with no place to call home.
Zimbabwe: The extreme drought in Zimbabwe has greatly affected the well-being of many of our church members. Our churches there desire to provide the people with water and the necessities to survive.
You can help! In all cases, our IPHC leaders are supporting those affected by offering clean drinking water, food parcels, and, of course, sharing the Gospel as they provide these necessary aids. Your financial gift to assist those currently suffering in Burundi, India, Myanmar, and Zimbabwe actively becomes the hands and feet of Jesus as the Church can then meet the needs of the people and the surrounding communities.
