Greetings!
Dear Partners and Friends,
By the grace of God, the ministry is continually progressing and bearing fruit. At our IPHC/ACA quarterly meeting at Trinity Church in Bangkok on July 4, Dr. Wallapa Wisawasukmongchol reported that the number of churches increased to 164 from 156 at the beginning of this year. This reignited a fire among pastors and leaders to plant more churches. Praise the Lord! The gospel of Christ is truly unstoppable!
It is also very encouraging to see a new generation springing out from our ministry works here in Thailand. The youth camp at our Don Muang Church in Bangkok on July 11 and 12 was a huge success. There were about 50 participants in this great gathering. Thank God for our guest speaker, Youth Pastor Jonathan Miller from Oklahoma. We then held another youth camp in Petchabun, which was conducted by the Awakening team from October 6-9. This camp reinforced the momentum of the young people to be more on fire for God at the national level. About 150 youth participated. Hallelujah! Thank God for Rev. Madeline Nix, Preston Thorne, and Addy Reilly, who made this event possible.
It was my pleasure and honor to be the guest speaker at Motana Church Camp on August 22 and 23 in Ratchaburi. The church responded positively to the call to live a life in accordance with God’s perfect will. Praise the Lord! Before this event, six new believers from Don Muang Church were baptized in water.
We want to take this opportunity to express our profound gratitude to Bishop Talmadge Gardner for exploring funding for the Lan Nam Lang Church building project. This church is in a strategic location to spread the gospel to the neighboring country of Cambodia. We are grateful to Barrineau PHC in Lake City, South Carolina, and Life Springs Worship Center in Columbia, South Carolina, for being a channel of God’s blessings in providing the urgently needed funds. We praise the Lord that this project is expected to be completed in December. Moreover, another church building project, Motana Tanaosri Church in Ratchaburi, has recently resumed after finding ways to raise funds through our ministry account and through local funds. Indeed, God is faithful.
I was in the Philippines from May 28 to June 6, visiting and ministering to my younger brother, Pastor Jojo Gonzales, who had a stroke in April that affected half of his body. He is currently in the process of recovery at a skilled nursing facility in Cavite. Upon seeing me, he was emotionally moved with tears of joy. It was a great visit! God is good! Please join me in praying for his speedy recovery. While in the country, I was privileged to preach at Christ International Fellowship in Makati on June 1. I preached the message “ARISE 2023” (5,000 Churches in 150 countries). The whole congregation was challenged. Many of them came forward to the altar where they committed themselves to carry out the Great Commission and be part of fulfilling Arise 2033. One of the congregants, Ester Patmon, is now in Thailand to serve as a tent maker, missionary. To God be the glory!
Thank you for your continuous prayers and unwavering support.
God richly and abundantly bless us all,
Brother Albert & Sister Jiep Gonzales
