Dear Partners and Friends,
Praise the Lord! My endoscopic decompression surgery at Bumrungrad International Hospital in Bangkok, Thailand, on June 8, was a success. This surgery was due to a severed spine nerve compression. I am now fully recovered and can walk without pain in my back and legs. Thanks to all of you for praying for me. We are so thankful to God for allowing us to stay at Jackie Wilson Memorial Missions Home in Clinton, North Carolina, since we arrived here in the U.S. on June 28. It was a house with three beautiful bedrooms, two baths, and two car garages. God is good! We are enjoying our time here in the United States, ministering to the churches and personally thanking them for being faithful partners in the gospel. We will be here for a six month furlough.
It was great to attend the 29th IPHC General Conference on July 27-29 in Jacksonville, Florida, and the North Carolina Conference Camp Meeting on August 7-10 in Falcon. We were blessed to be present at these two significant events, and we had a chance to be spiritually refreshed and have fellowship with the other brethren from different nations.
We were overwhelmed with joy for the reelection of our Presiding Bishop Doug Beacham and Executive Director of World Missions Ministries Bishop Talmadge Gardner. They are both anointed men of God and are serving the Lord well in love, humility, and compassion. We are so pleased and honored to be working with them.
The NC Camp meeting was a success, and it was such a wonderful gathering of His people with powerful worship and the Word of the Lord! We indeed had a great time of fellowship! With much humility, I was given the privilege to preach at the morning service during the Camp Meeting at Octagon Tabernacle on August 8. The Lord led me to share “Arise and Enlarge the Vision of the Church” and found Isaiah 54:1-3 as the proper text for the exhortation. To God be the glory!
We are scheduled to be in West Virginia on the second week of October. We will then be in Washington, DC, on the third week. We will be back in North Carolina after these weeks and then go to California in the middle of November until we go back to Thailand in January 2023. We are praying for more partners in the gospel. God is faithful. We apologize for not being able to visit some of the churches that are supporting us due to limited time. However, our love and affection warmly remain, for you are always in our hearts.
As of today, the lodging facility project on the fourth floor of Don Muang Church still needs additional funding of about $7,000 to complete it. We believe that the vision of the church to be a training center will be fulfilled in due time, for God is faithful. You can make a difference by extending your assistance for this project. This will have a great impact on our discipleship program. May the Lord lead you to be part of this endeavor by sending your donation to IPHC WMM Project Account #75405P. Our investment in the expansion of His Kingdom will never be in vain. God loves a cheerful giver. Please keep this matter in your prayers.
Thank you for your continued prayers and unwavering support.
May the Lord richly and abundantly bless you all.
Your Co-laborers in Christ,
Brother Albert and Sister Jiep Gonzales
