Doorways to Freedom
Lorena¹ has worked for over two and half decades in the sex industry. More than two years ago, Matthew talked to her about what she needed in order to stop working in prostitution. “I need a house" was her response.
Getting an affordable rental house in Amsterdam is something that is nearly impossible. Yet, Femke took her under her wings and helped her through the process to possibly get a house. “Getting my own home will be my first step to quitting this work. It will be my first step to freedom.”

Last month, she called us and invited us to her new home that she was able to get, thanks to Femke’s help. As we sat in her home, she began to share with us about how doctors had found tumors in her body and that she needed healing. As we sat there, we began to share how the most important home was not her house, but her heart where Jesus wanted to come in and rule and reign. There, in her kitchen, we were able to pray and thank God for a house, pray for healing, and thank God that doors were now opening for her to permanently get out of sex work. Yet, just as important, her heart and life were open for Jesus to come in and care for her.
Lorena’s story is not unique. Every week we speak to many individuals who desperately want to get out of prostitution, but do not know how. The corona crisis has created an amazing opportunity for us to get practical and spiritual help for so many individuals in the sex industry. Instead of the pandemic being a time where our ministry stopped, our church has been growing, and we have been baptizing new believers. The amount of influence God has given to us in Amsterdam and all across Holland and the world has amazingly grown. For this, we are thankful.

Ruah – Online School of Prophecy and Healing
Under normal circumstances, Matthew travels extensively, teaching schools of prophecy and healing. Because of the corona crisis, these schools have not stopped but been multiplied. In Chile, for example, we have founded an online Bible School called: Ruah – School of Prophecy and Healing. In less than two months, we have trained over two hundred individuals in places such as Chile, Italy, Argentina, Mexico, the United States, Wales, Spain, and the Netherlands. The first course of the school is completed in Spanish and English, and more courses are planned on subjects such as Power Evangelism, Divine Healing, Interpretation of Dreams and Visions, and more. Leaving the Ninety-Nine for the One
We are so honored and blessed to do the ministry and work that we do because of so many generous individuals who pray for us and generously support us financially. We are deeply grateful for the lives that we are witnessing being changed by the love and power of God. Jesus, our leader and example, said that He left the ninety-nine for the one sheep that was lost and broken. It is our ambition to follow his example in our work.
