“But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth” (Acts 1:8).
IPHC in Israel! Over the last ten years, we have seen the Holy Spirit empower the church for ministry. IPHC Living Israel is the working name of our movement. 31 churches have been planted from the bottom of the country in Elat, up through Jerusalem, Haifa, and into Galilee. Many of these churches were started by ex-drug addicts that are now on fire believers in Yeshua the Savior.
The goal is to plant 70 more churches in the next seven years, and you can be a part of it all. Our main two needs are funding an Israel church plant and meeting the needs of our Coffee House Ministry in Tel Aviv.
How we plant a New Church: As the costs in Israel are very high, our churches will start with renting a large home. One or two families (one being the church leader) will move in and this will be the gathering place of the new believers. Many of the attendees will be new immigrant Russian-speaking Jews. We need to raise approximately $8,000 to “jump start” the church plant process. After that, the families and new arrivals can carry the monthly financial responsibilities.
Coffee House Ministry in Tel Aviv: Our coffee house in Tel Aviv is located in a shabby section of town as the main outreach is to drug addicts, alcoholics, and the homeless. If you could witness the transition that takes place from addicted and homeless to rehabilitated in Christ, you would rejoice with us. Seventy-five percent (75%) of our pastors/leaders came up through one of our drug rehab centers. As the rent is expensive and we are preparing meals for 1,000 homeless persons a month, the cost is approximately $4,000 a month to sustain the ministry at the coffee house. Will your church SPONSOR ONE MONTH out of the year?
