Mrema Messenger
by Kundael & Yasinta Mrema
Grace to you and peace from God our father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
The Lord is Good:
As we come to the end of winter, we are grateful that we were able to endure the cold this time. Most of the time the cold gets us because we are used to the tropical climate. So spring time is good for us.
Great Report:
As we told you, we had two general Conferences, in Zambia and Malawi, and I want to report that all went on very well. The church in Zambia now has 6 conferences, over 800 churches, and a membership of over 100,000. In Malawi, we have 4 conferences, 210 churches, and a membership of over 20,000. The elections went very smoothly in both Conferences.
Unfinished Churches:
It is easy to reach souls in Africa, but it is hard to build churches or places for worship. This is the area where we need help. We have three church buildings in three different regions in Tanzania that need roofing. One is in Dodoma ($8,000 needed). The second is in Singida, Central Tanzania ($5,000 needed). The third is in Mbeya on the Southern Highlands ($5,000 needed). If you would like to help roofing these churches, please send funds to the Project #12509P, or the Tanzania church planting account, Project #12006P.
Please pray for funds to come in for putting windows, doors, and floors in the two churches we built in 2014. To support the growth of these churches, Kimamba Church Project ($ 8,000 needed) is Project #12504P, and Kilosa Church Project ($7,000 needed) is Project #12505P.
Appreciation:
We just finished our Great Commission Meals in the South Carolina Conference and we want to express our gratitude to those who attended. Thank you so very much for your commitment to Missions.
We appreciate all the prayers we received and we thank all of you for your continued support of us. We couldn’t accomplish all that we do without you. Thank you.
Yasinta Studies:
While we are waiting for Ms. Yasinta’s paperwork with immigration to be completed, she is attending School of Ministry classes and expects to be a licensed minister of the South Carolina Conference by May 2016.
So you can see how the Lord arranged for everything to work out for good for us, we will send an update to all of you when the paperwork is done and we are ready to go back to the mission field.
Kids Corner:
Spring is here with excitement filling the air. Lydia has registered at North Greenville University for her first year. She is studying Psychology. We are glad for her because this has been her dream. Elifadhili has also registered at Holmes Bible College for his senior year there. Elishama is a youth pastor at College Park Church of God. Please pray for them.
