SPECIAL NEW YEAR GREETINGS FROM TANZANIA
Dear Mission Partner, it is with great joy and honor to write to you again this year, 2021.
HAPPY NEW YEAR!
The year 2020 has passed like a dream of a night with all its ups and downs. Each one of us has been touched this past year differently. Some of you were touched with the loss of your loved ones, some with the sickness of a member of your family or you, yourself, being sick. Praise the Lord! You are still here reading this letter. God is good and still on the throne.
ON MY SIDE
The year 2020 was a little bit tough, but it was a year I saw the hand of the Lord working mightily on my behalf. I could not do any mission work for six months because of the delay in receiving my work permit. I applied for the renewal of my work permit in February 2020, and it went through after six months. I received it in August, so while I was waiting for it, I was told not to do any kind of ministry. While waiting, I was sick with stomach ulcers for three months, and our good Lord healed me. In October, I felt I needed to see my new grand-daughter, who was born in July. In late November, I traveled to the States, and in December, I tested positive for COVID-19. I was so sick for some days, and again the Lord healed me. On January 15, 2021, the virus was cleared from my system, so I was able to travel back to Tanzania on January 16, 2021. Since January 17, I have been in Tanzania, and I am doing very well. Thank you for your prayers.
I was able to finish the churches we were building before Mrema’s transition into his eternal home. These three churches don’t have floors, but people are so happy that they have a place to worship. Thank you for your prayers and financial support. The well drilling was also completed, so people in that community around Mvumi PHC are enjoying clean running water. Glory to God!
The Feeding Program began again, after the COVID-19 issue and the delay of the work permit, on the first Saturday of October. Three young men have come to the Lord during this period through the PTP Feeding Program. Two of them are doing very well. I give God all the glory. Please pray for these young men that they continue loving the Lord. Their names are Erick, Phidias, and Yohana.
I cannot repay you for what you have given to this ministry over the years while there were five in my family and, now, that I am alone. THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU! I pray that our good Lord will satisfy you with long life and show you His salvation. Psalms 91:16.
