Stateside Ministry
The Wapshotts have been key in running our house group in Neath, Wales while we’ve been in the States promoting The ELI Project. John and Menna have also been a big help to Jennifer Moore in running our Parents2Parents Family Nights. So it was with great joy that our family welcomed theirs as they stepped foot onto Georgian soil. Their American summer vacation introduced them to wide open spaces, good food, scorching hot weather and outdoor swimming pools.
It was an honor to host our first Stateside Family Night while the Wapshotts were here. The ELI Project, in conjunction with the Golden Soldiers, held the Family Night in Kenesaw, GA last month.
Twelve kids played games with the volunteers while our team had the pleasure of sharing the love of Jesus with the parents. Success! Through our conversations we were able to connect them to a local church with a special needs ministry already in place. Thank you, Golden Soldiers, for partnering with us to see to it these precious families know the heart of God.
The ELI Project is blessed to be surrounded by people such as the Wapshotts and the Golden Soldiers. Together we are making it known that Every Life’s Important, including “the least of these.” Matthew 25:40-45
