Big Week Out!
Springtime was busy for ELI Project.
Four big outreach events connected ELI Project with 22 new families. The Awakening team, lead by Max Barroso, assisted ELI Project in our first ever Big Week Out! Big Week Out was created to provide Special Needs families with activities during half term break from school. Two of these events included our official launch into the Swansea area. Now running strong, ELI Project Swansea and ELI Project Neath are both growing with new families attending every month. Thank you to The Awakening team!
Help
Helping ELI Project in June was an intern from Georgia, Jennie Gardner. It was a privilege having Jennie. She applied her teaching skills to not only teach the kids God’s word in our house church, but helped us develop crafts for our Family Nights (outreach).
Family
On a personal note, Tessa, our niece, gave her summer to spend with us here in Wales. She has a personal connection with Eli. With a degree in Special Needs education, Tessa teaches Eli through fun and games, leaving us with useful tools to continue when she has returned home. Thank you, Tessa.
