June 17 marked five years since my husband was called home to be with the Lord. Looking back on that season, I could never have imagined the miracles God had in store for me. From providing the financial support needed to pay hospital bills totaling thousands of dollars to enabling me to return to the mission field and continue serving in the calling He gave me, the Lord has been faithful every step of the way.

Yet the greatest demonstration of His faithfulness has been the privilege of serving Him on levels I never imagined. God has used my life as a mentor, allowing me to provide counsel and discipleship in ways that have expanded far beyond what I expected and have impacted the lives of others. What for many might have been the end of ministry and the beginning of a life marked by discouragement and bitterness has instead become an opportunity to testify to what God can do when we trust Him and walk in obedience. After all, that is what He asks of each of us in every circumstance we face.

"And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose."
Romans 8:28

I continue preparing for the launch of Lulu's House. At this stage, I must wait until sufficient funds are available to rent a suitable facility. In the meantime, I am focusing on building the ministry team and learning about the legal requirements for beginning operations. A similar ministry once existed in Brussels but was unable to continue because of legal and logistical challenges. I ask for your prayers that God will guide every step of this project and open the right doors at the right time.

In the past, I had the privilege of helping my husband establish several ministries: the evangelistic café “Le Phare”, where thousands heard the Gospel; Logos Bible School, where dozens were trained for ministry and more than twenty churches were planted; the various churches we established together; and the government registration of the IPHC, the organization that sent us as missionaries and has faithfully supported us throughout the years.

Now that my husband is no longer with us, this would be the first ministry God is allowing me to launch on my own. The Hub, a ministry designed to help those struggling with addiction and mental health challenges, is another project currently waiting to move forward. As with Lulu's House, the main obstacles are finances and the gathering of a capable ministry team. Your prayers are a vital form of support, helping ensure that everything is accomplished according to God's timing and His perfect plan.
