Fear cannot stop the advance of the Kingdom of Christ
Our work as Regional Directors for Southeast Asia includes ministry in the countries of Indonesia and Pakistan. Currently, Indonesia is the world’s most populous Islamic country, and Pakistan is #2. In each of these countries there are constant threats of attacks menacing the societies.
In January this year, a Starbucks in the Indonesian capital city of Jakarta was attacked, killing 5 and injuring dozens. On Easter Sunday 2016, a suicide bomber killed over 70 people and injured over 300 in a park in the city of Lahore, Pakistan. This attack appears to have been targeting Christians.
These threats and attacks cannot, and will not, stop the advance of the Kingdom of Christ! We do covet your prayers for our ministry leaders and church members in Indonesia and Pakistan. They are faithful men and women risking their lives for the sake of the Gospel. They continue to minister the Truth in these countries where evil is on the march.
Please also pray for us as we travel to these and other countries within the Asian Circle. Thank you very much for your prayer partnership in our work for the Kingdom of Christ. Thank you also for your sacrificial financial support that empowers us to live among and minister to the Muslim, Buddhist and Hindu peoples living inside the Asian Circle.
