Ukraine Update
By Bill Schwartz; Regional Director of Central / Eastern Europe
We have recently received reports from our ministry teams in Ukraine. The need is increasing drastically. In the past few weeks, due to the effects of the war, we have had ministry facilities destroyed in southern Ukraine in the areas of Mykolaiv and Kherson. This, unfortunately, resulted in one of our pastors losing his life. Our prayers and support are being extended to Pastor Yury Klimko's family.
Pastor Dima Loiuk reports that the situation is not improving politically; however, our IPHC family in Ukraine is meeting the people with the greatest need. Often, they are within a mile from the front lines as our Ukrainian teams frequently deliver food and generators to provide much-needed power in the devastated areas. From January through March, they have provided meals for 4,600 people. In addition, they have provided 24 diesel generators in these devastated regions. We are grateful for the effective leadership of Bishop Valerii Reshetinsky and his dedicated team, which Pastor Dima leads.
We desire to continue providing resources for these devastated areas, which would not be possible without the generosity and compassion of our IPHC family. Would you consider giving to the Ukrainian Relief Fund?
Ways to give:
