Ukraine Update
By Bill Schwartz; Regional Director of Central / Eastern Europe
The war in Ukraine is approaching the two-and-half-year mark. For many, this is hard to believe. For others, the war in Ukraine is almost forgotten. However, the reality is that communities are devastated and continue to experience more devastation. Families have been separated, and many have had to flee their homes to either find refuge in Western Ukraine, or other countries, with no promise or guarantee that they will ever be able to return.
Regardless of the uncertainty, there is one consistent reality. Our IPHC Ministries in Ukraine continue to travel dangerously close to the front lines of war to bring supplies, food, and hope to these devastated communities and people. We just recently received this report from Ukraine.
"Again and again, we want to express our deep gratitude for your prayers for Ukraine. Thank you for supporting us. We believe that God hears every prayer, that He will never leave Ukraine, and that there will be a peaceful sky over Ukraine. In this difficult time, communities in Ukraine have many needs. People especially need prayers and hope. We continue to serve people all over Ukraine. Thank you for being with us and for your support. God bless you!"
Ukraine's Bishop Reshentinsky recently shared at a local church: "Because of the American Church, the Ukrainian Church has never felt alone."
IPHC family, we thank you for your continued support. Together, we are making a difference!
