A Heartfelt Greeting
By the gracious provision of our Lord Jesus Christ, we arrived in the Philippines on May 31, 2024, to embark on our first-term missionary assignment. With humble dependence on the Holy Spirit and with your prayers and partnership, we are committed to fulfilling God's call to the mission field and are faithfully fulfilling the Great Commission.
The Philippines: A Fertile Ground for Ministry
The Philippines, an archipelago of over 7,000 islands in Southeast Asia, is surrounded by the Pacific Ocean, South China Sea, and Celebes Sea. We praise God for establishing IPHC presence in the three main islands: Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao.
Ministry Update
Our 10 conferences across the Philippines focus on: church planting, equipping leaders, and fulfilling the Arise 2033 vision.
Highlights from the Field
- Had meeting with our Philippine Pentecostal Holiness Church (PPHC) National Leaders and presented our mission and the Arise Vision 2033.
- Equipped leaders and pastors in the Greater Manila Conference on leadership.
- Worked alongside Madeline Nix and the Awakening team for street and house-to-house evangelism, and kids and prison ministry, which was held in Pasig, Tondo, Makati, Metro Manila. We rejoice for the 121 decisions for salvation.
- Served as Convention Speaker in Northeast Luzon Conference, Quirino Province and witnessed the growth of the Conference. In addition, God healed a lady from deafness. We were encouraged by the dedication of a 76-year-old Pastora Anita Chumayu who is still working in church planting. She plants a church then she passes the pastorate to the younger pastors.
- Taught at Thailand Theological Seminary.
- Visited and preached in our local churches, preaching and encouraging the believers in their faith. This opportunity allowed us to build relationships with our church families.
Prayer Requests
- Establishment of a new conference by the end of 2025. Pray for guidance and provision.
- Laborers to plant churches. Bishop Nick Layco of the Eastern Pangasinan area shared with me, “There are many opportunities to open new churches, but we lack workers to send.” Let’s pray for God to raise and send dedicated servant leaders.
- Provision and support for church planters. We seek assistance to empower church planters.
Thank You
We are deeply grateful for your unwavering partnership and fervent prayers. Your support is a vital part of our mission to spread God's love and hope in the Indo-Pacific. May God bless you more abundantly.
Together we make a difference!
