Gladys (Mosley) Hannweber (1931-2021)
World Missions Ministries wishes to honor the memory and legacy of Sister Gladys (Mosley) Hannweber. Gladys passed away on June 22, 2021; she was 89 years old. Gladys and her husband of 35 years, Rev. Lloyd Mosley (1929-1986), joined the World Missions family in 1980 as missionaries to South Africa. Rev. Mosley was the principal for two Bible colleges: Hebron Bible College in Krugersdorp from 1980 to 1983 and Freeman Bible College in White River from 1984 to 1986. Together, he and Gladys taught and trained young native men and women to minister the gospel and take it back to their home tribes. Many graduated from the programs with eagerness to return home and serve their people. In addition to the Bible colleges, they helped establish new churches and engaged the community through street evangelism. Sister Gladys retired from World Missions at the end of October 1986, just a few months after the passing of Rev. Lloyd Mosley.
During her time with World Missions, those who knew and worked with Gladys esteemed her as a devoted wife and a courageous co-laborer through many years of ministry.
We extend our heartfelt condolences to Mr. Robert Hannweber and her dear friends and family members during this difficult time.
