Support their ministry here!
Greetings in the precious name of Jesus! The year 2016 was a very good year. The number of churches of IPHC Thailand “Alliance Church Association” increased to 54, from 44 in 2015. Glory to God! Indeed, our labor in the Lord is not in vain. Thank you for your continued prayers, generous giving, and unwavering support. We believe that, in 2017, the best is yet to come! The opportunity of expanding the kingdom of God in this predominantly Buddhist nation is so great. Please pray for more laborers and new missionaries in the harvest field here in Thailand. Please pray for short-term missionaries, Brother Ron and Sister Linda Fields, to be able to return to Thailand in July. They are great servants of God.
Praise the Lord! The mandate to make disciples is gearing up! The Thailand Theological Seminary is moving forward. There are seven students enrolled in the Masters Degree in Ministry Program. The Associate Degree in Ministry is ongoing with 17 students. Please pray for the provisions needed for the construction of the building for the seminary. The Lord has already provided the land for us. May the Lord touch your heart to invest in this building project (Project #74520) that will cost about $400,000. Any amount that the Lord is leading you to contribute will be highly appreciated.
The Discipleship Training Seminar, held on January 25-27, 2017 at the Indo-China Training Center in Mae Sai (North of Thailand), was great. There were about 24 attendees from Thailand, Laos, and Myanmar. Rev. Jeff Willhoite is overseeing the center. The construction project for the dormitory (phase 2) is progressing. The multi-purpose building and the workers’ quarters building were completed a few years ago.
We were overwhelmed with joy to see the goodness of God manifested in our midst in celebrating Christmas with the Akha Tribe on December 30, 2016 in Khon Suey, Chiang Rai. There were over one hundred people who came, including those from the nearby villages. They all enjoyed the worship gathering, lunch fellowship and gifts. It has been our tradition since 2002 when we started this ministry, to go up the mountain just to be with them whenever we are in Thailand. We are amazed to see the children growing up physically and spiritually. As they grow, we could not recognize most of them, but they are there with us. Although some of the youth were no longer in the village and have relocated to other parts of Thailand seeking higher education and greener pasture, this ministry will go on. We believe that the seeds of the Word we planted in their hearts will remain and never die. Most of them benefited from the People to People child sponsorship program. Thank you for supporting PTP Ministries.
The 15th Anniversary of Pantamit Don Muang Church on January 22nd was a huge success. There were over one hundred people who came and joyfully celebrated with us. The theme for this year was “God is good!” The Lord continually blesses the church to bear much fruit both in quality and quantity. Moreover, six new believers were added to the church and recently got baptized. Praise the Lord!
Thank you and God bless you all.
