Greetings!
Dear Partners and Friends,
We are grateful and thankful to God for your faithfulness in serving the Lord with us as we work to expand His kingdom in Thailand and the neighboring countries. Indeed, our labor in the Lord will never be in vain. Thank you! We are very happy to report to you that the number of IPHC Thailand churches increased from 140 last year to 156 in January 2025. To God be the glory! Thanks to Rev. Russell Board and Dr. Wallapa Wisawasukmongchol for their leadership to make the ministry in Thailand fruitful and blessed. Our tribal ministry keeps on flourishing. Two new churches were recently dedicated unto the Lord: the Akha tribe church in Mae Sai (North of Thailand) on March 26, and the Karen tribe church in Ratchaburi province (West of Thailand) on March 8. The Mekong Bible Training Center was also dedicated on February 22. Thank you to all supporters of this project, especially to Valley Harvest Ministries PH Church in Virginia. The discipleship training program being conducted in the center is continually progressing. The latest one was held February 20-21, focusing on “New Future in God”. Thanks to Rev. Chi Chang (Director of the Bible Training Center) and to the following guest speakers who made this conference a success: Rev. Steve Willis, Rev. Russell Board, and Revs. Doug and Jill Nelson.
We are humbly honored to be involved with the Hope Center Ministries for Women in Thailand, led by Dr. Wallapa Wisawasukmongchol. This center's license to operate is progressing very well in line with government requirements. The high officials from Phetchabun province, including the governor and the Ministry of Health, are very supportive of making this center a success in restoring patients’ wellness, restoring family relationships, and restoring belongingness to the community.
We would like to express our sincere gratitude to Tim and Twila Eades for their $1,250 donation intended for the Karen Refugee Camp for humanitarian aid in Ratchaburi. We were privileged to use these funds to provide badly needed food supplies (250 bags of rice (five kilograms each), canned goods, cookies, chips, breads, etc.) for the Karen Tribe (children and adults alike) at the Refugee Camp near the Myanmar-Thailand border on March 16. Truly, in His time, He makes everything beautiful. We were moved with compassion to see the poor living conditions of the Karens. By His grace, the Lord led me to preach the gospel, and almost all of them in the church stood up and confessed that Jesus Christ is Lord. This church is under our IPHC umbrella. Thank you, Jesus! There were about 250 people in the church, including those outside the church that day. Many of them just moved into the camp due to the ongoing civil war in Myanmar. Please pray for peace in Myanmar.
We had a great Palm Sunday Worship Service at our Don Muang Phantamit Church on April 13. This year, Palm Sunday coincidentally begins a New Year celebration, “SONGKRAN,” for Thai people. It is celebrated with a three-day water festival. We had a great time together in the church celebrating both Palm Sunday and Songkran, ending the day with joy in our hearts and glorifying Him. Amen!
God bless you all even more.
Your Co-laborers in Christ,
Brother Albert & Sister Jiep Gonzales
