Greetings in the precious name of Jesus! The 14th Annual IPHC Thailand, known as Alliance Church Association, Conference was joyfully held in May for three days of worship, business meetings, praying, preaching, teaching the Word of God and fellowshipping. It was a great conference with more than 140 pastors and leaders in attendance. Thanks to our anointed IPHC guest speakers, Dr. Terry Tramel, Rev. Russell Board and Rev. Lorenzo Aguilar. They imparted the Word of God powerfully on the conference theme “Power of Faith”. By faith, a new vision came and that is to grow the number of churches from 54, currently, to 100 within three years. On the final day of the conference, credentials were awarded to 11 mission workers, 10 licensed ministers and 2 ordained seminary teachers. Thank God for the new workers in the vineyard. We went back home rejoicing, refreshed, blessed and inspired to finish the race that the Lord has entrusted to us.
By the grace of God, the ACA ministries are continually bearing much fruit reaching not only Thais, but also Filipinos, Nepalese, Burmese, Akha and Karen Tribes. This is in spite of being in a predominantly Buddhist nation and currently under the military junta administration. The power of the Gospel is unstoppable and it cannot be chained. We thank you for your prayers and unwavering support which makes the ministry fruitful and blessed.
We thank God for the four souls saved during the Sunday worship service on May 14th at Pantamit Don Muang Church. Moreover, on May 21st , there were another eight souls added. Hallelujah! Pastor Chi Chang of Mae Sai Church reported that there were eight new believers who were recently baptized. I believe that in other ACA churches, many souls are also being harvested. This causes the ACA churches to continue increasing. To God be the glory!
God is good! The land in Mae Sai where the church is located was finally donated to our foundation officially, after 10 years of negotiation with Khun Pawanee. Faith, prayer, patience and perseverance works! God answers prayers and indeed He makes everything beautiful in His time. The title of the land was turned over to our National Director, Dr. Wallapa Wisawasukmongchol, and me during the 20th Anniversary of Mae Sai Pantamit Church. The church building which was funded locally and completed in 2010. The current value of the building and the land is approximately $180,000.
Please join us in prayer concerning the financial provisions to build the Thailand Theological Seminary building (Project #74520). We have been here for over 15 years and we believe in our hearts that your contributions to this endeavor will definitely have a great impact in spreading the Gospel of Christ effectively. The demand to train more workers is urgently needed as the ministries continue to expand. Remember, our beloved brethren, Christianity here in Thailand is merely 1% of a huge 68 million population. The harvest is truly plenteous but the laborers are few. Pray that the Lord of the harvest will send laborers into the harvest field. Thank you and God bless.
