Dear Partners and Friends,
We are thankful to God for His amazing grace and faithfulness. The ministry in Thailand is continually bearing much fruit despite the pandemic crisis. Our quarterly pastor’s meeting, on October 18 in Bangkok, was very encouraging. We have increased our number of churches from 81 to 86, as reported by Dr. Wallapa Wisawasukmongchol. The surprise distribution of the Covid-19 Relief funds from IPHC WMM to 58 pastors, totaling $9,355 at $162 each, brought a joyful spirit in our midst during the meeting.
Hallelujah! Those pastors tried to get some financial help from the government due to the negative effect of the pandemic but, unfortunately, failed. The churches in Thailand were closed for almost four months. It was indeed a great blessing for them to know that IPHC WMM loves and cares for them. On behalf of the IPHC Thailand (ACA), I would like to express my sincere thanks to all the leaders and donors from IPHC WMM.
Praise the Lord! There were eight Buddhists who received the Lord Jesus Christ recently at Don Muang Church on different Sundays. We have a couple in the church who are gifted in evangelism and are actively involved in bringing people to the church. God is good!
The joint youth camp of our church and the church in Petchabun, on October 10-13 in Petchabun (5 hours away from Bangkok), was a huge success. We had a great time together in worship and fellowship. It was fun, and their relationship with the Lord and each other grew. The theme of the camp was “Abiding in Christ.” There were about 30 youth participants. Moreover, the Motana Family Church’s Camp, on October 23-25 in Petchaburi, was also a success. By the grace of God, one soul was saved, and eight new believers were water baptized. Thank God for giving me the opportunity to minister to them. We had three teaching sessions and two services. The theme of the camp was “Live to Serve.” We thanked God for His presence and for blessing our time of worship, discipleship, and fellowship. We had about 75 in attendance.
Praise the Lord! The TTS building project moves on by continually trusting the Lord for provisions. We still need about $75,000 to complete the project. We are hoping and praying that the project will be finished by August 2021. We plan to use this facility for the graduation ceremony of the 231 graduating students taking our two-year program, bachelor's, master's, and doctoral degrees. We will save a lot of money if this project is completed on time instead of renting a place for this purpose. Please join us in prayer, and we are also asking you to be part of this endeavor. The Project Number is 75420P.
We thank God for giving us the opportunity to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary on October 21, 2020. Thanks to all of you who greeted us warmly and graciously. We love and miss you all.
Thank you for your continuous prayers and unwavering support. God richly and abundantly bless you all.
Your Co-laborers in Christ,
Brother Albert and Sister Jiep Gonzales
