Dear Partners and Friends,
Dear Partners and Friends,
We are thankful to God and to all our faithful partners in the gospel for the continuous, fruitfulness in the ministries here in Thailand. Our mission trip south to the Krabi and Phuket regions (near Malaysia) on Oct. 2-4 reignited our brethren to keep spreading the gospel as the Lord has commanded us to do. They were encouraged and inspired to do more for the Lord: one of them, decided to construct a church building on his own property; another accepted the responsibility to be a leader in the region and offered to help other pastors in their discipleship program. Our mission trip north to the Chiang Mai and Chiang Rai regions (near Myanmar) on Oct. 27-30 was also a huge success. Our relationship with our brethren there was strengthened and planting more churches became more challenging to them. We were touched and tremendously blessed to see our tribal ministry outreaches prospering: the Akha, Karen, and Lisu tribes besides our Thai and international groups. Great things are happening in the North, especially among the tribal groups. Hallelujah!
Praise the Lord! Two young people got saved during our church’s camp in Chaam on October 12-14. We were focusing on enlarging the vision and missions of the church through evangelism, discipleship, and church planting by sending missionaries to different areas. We had a great time together in the presence of the Lord in worship while also fellowshipping with one another. Thank God for our new IPHC Missionary Abigail Bishop for helping the Youth Ministry “YoungZa” as she works well with our Youth Pastor Frong Panitan. Moreover, in mid-October, she started teaching English for free every Saturday from 10 am to noon at the church to reach out to the community for Christ. The community is beginning to hear about this program, and now the attendance in her class is increasing. Blessed be the name of the Lord!
God be praised! The Marriage Ablaze Conference conducted by Peter and Christine Kairuz of CBN Asia (Host of 700 Club Asia) on Oct. 22 in coordination with our Filipino group led by Pastor Gel Lardizabal reignited the intensity of love relationship between husbands and wives for happy and Godly marriages. There were 60 couples who attended, which were mostly pastors and leaders from different churches. In another special occasion, on Nov. 8, I was humbly honored to give a message for groom Pakorn Sangwang and bride Narada Sangamangmoon on their wedding ceremony in Ratchaburi province. The bride is the daughter of our beloved friends, Revs. Thewa and Kritika Sangamangmoon. We have served the Lord together for over 20 years under IPHC Thailand. It was a beautiful and meaningful wedding! There were about 200 people who came to witness this great event. In one big event, I enjoyed my time celebrating the 20th anniversary of Jesus Reigns (one of our Filipino Churches under our umbrella) on Nov. 12.
Please join us in prayer for God’s favor and blessing to our two projects proposal applications (Motana Church Based Training Center and Hope Center) for Antioch Grant 2024. May His will be done.
Your Co-laborers in Christ,
Brother Albert and Sister Jiep Gonzales
