WE PRAYERFULLY VALUE JUSTICE
Below, you will find a story shared by Danny Williams that emphasizes the life changing effects of God’s Justice.
“Something that comes to mind while considering the concept of ‘justice’ is a story about the Dalit, known as ‘the untouchable’ in India. Mahatma Gandhi represented them as Harjins, the ‘mud hut people.’ In Hindu castes, these people have historically been the lowest caste. These tribes represent millions who are not even considered people at all by many in the upper castes. The injustices they have suffered include menial jobs, mental abuse, physical abuse, no education, inadequate housing and food, no personal transportation, and inadequate clothing. They lack even the fundamental requirements for living.
Thank God, there is another story going on within this group of wonderful people. Many are turning to Christ Jesus and becoming people of God. Judith and I have personally witnessed God’s transformation in their lives. These individuals, groups, and families are changing through salvation, sanctification, and Holy Spirit infilling, while also experiencing lifting of lives to higher standards. So many are now pastors, leaders, and members of congregations. God has helped many of them out of extreme poverty by giving better jobs, education, housing, and vehicles. He is turning their shame and humiliation into respect, distinction, and turning hundreds of years of injustices to justice. For this, we praise the name of Jesus!
Devastating, overwhelming, and confusing circumstances are receiving the “Great Exchange” of God’s justice, moving difficulties to blessings; trials to testimonies; pits to the pinnacles; insecurities to securities; bondage to freedom; wanderings to purposes; and defeats to victories.
Through God’s character, His Word, and the leading of The Holy Spirit, WE WILL OVERCOME! We will outlast our doubts, our fears, our pressures, our critics, and our crisis. The good Lord will continue to bring justice from injustice (Isaiah 58:2).
Jesu's very name in Hebrew, Yeshua, proclaims salvation and power to rescue, deliver, and overcome. The power of the cross: His sacrifice, His blood, His resurrection, and His triumphant name proclaim justice.
He is the Rock. His work is perfect. "For all His ways are justice, a God of truth and without injustice; righteous and upright is He" (Deuteronomy 32:4 NAS).”
Mr. Williams also provided various other portions of scripture, which come to mind while considering the concept of “Justice,” including Proverbs 4:18, Matthew 12:18-21, Psalm 89:14, Romans 14:17, Genesis 18:19, 1 Kings 3:11. Psalm 37:30, Psalm 89:14, Proverbs 31:3, Proverbs 29:26, Isaiah 28:17, and Matthew 23:23.
Please continue with the WMM family in prayer that justice will increasingly prevail across the world in 2019.
