Living Israel - Remembering Holocaust Survivors
Dear Friends,
As we honor Holocaust Remembrance Day, our hearts are turned toward a sacred and fading generation—the courageous men and women who survived the unthinkable.
As of 2025, there are approximately 220,800 Holocaust survivors living across more than 90 countries worldwide. Regionally, about 50% of survivors reside in Israel, 18% in North America (with 16% in the United States), and 17.5% in Western Europe, and every day we are losing more of these precious souls. Most are elderly, many live alone, and too many struggle with poverty, health issues, or isolation. But they are not forgotten—not by God, and not by us.
At Living Israel, we count it one of our greatest honors to regularly visit and bless 340 Holocaust survivors with care, gift cards for essentials, and personal support for their unique needs. These are not just acts of charity—they are expressions of love, dignity, honor and remembrance.
We've put together a short video to help you see their faces, hear their voices, and witness the heart of this ministry. We invite you to watch it and share in the moment with us.
This is a disappearing community. Time is short. And yet, there is still something we can do right now—we can show them that they are seen, valued, and honored.
Would you consider joining us in this sacred mission? Your gift allows us to continue reaching each survivor with compassion and care, month after month.
Thank you for standing with us as we love, serve, and remember. May we never forget—and may we always act.
With deep gratitude and love,
Michael Sadovsky, Lead Pastor of IPHC Israel
