Dear Friends,
It is heartbreaking seeing the destruction, devastation, loss of life, and displacement of families taking place because of the war in Ukraine. We are sure the heart of God is broken over all that is happening too.
Many of our Eastern European colleagues are on the front lines providing transportation and care for refugees, mostly women and children. Some have been taken to safe havens in Bulgaria, Poland, Hungary, and Romania. Even our church in Berlin has become a place of refuge for some of those fleeing Ukraine.
Germans and Belgians where we live and serve share their concerns over this war and the future of Europe. Some older Germans are afraid. In our conversations, we are able to share the greatest message of all, hope for all times through faith in God and His son, Jesus Christ - our living unfailing hope!
Germany has welcomed over 140,000 refugees fleeing from Ukraine. Many of these are young women who are vulnerable to human trafficking. We are still faithfully reaching into the darkest corners of our world where the vulnerable, victims, and survivors of sexual exploitation live and work. Thank you for helping us shine the Light of God's Love and Hope!

EUPEN CHURCH PLANT UPDATE
Meet our new team members, the Julien Family. Conor and Larissa have completed their Bible School training and have been serving as youth pastors at Fountain of Life Church in London. They will be moving to Eupen next month and will begin serving as the pastors of Die Brücke Church. Because Larissa is German, from an EU country, they are able to live in Belgium. God has already provided them with a nice apartment right in the heart of Eupen, just a two-minute walk from the church. Having boots on the ground right in our target city will strengthen the work and make a great difference in evangelism and "connect group" efforts.
The timing of their coming has been perfect. Our three-year term will end in May, and we begin our furlough on June 1. Despite visa issues, health issues, the pandemic, and the flood, we thank God that He has been with us. He has been faithful to provide for all of our needs and for every need of this new church plant too. Dear friends, thank you for your love, prayers, and generosity in giving! We love you and pray that God will bless you and meet all of your needs - physically, emotionally, spiritually, and financially.
