Celebrate! The King Has Come!
Our global goal is for each one to welcome the Savior, our King, born in Bethlehem and welcomed into our lives to remain in our hearts as we proclaim Him as the eternal, only God. He is known as LOVE, who loved us first.
With this love in us, we are on His mission together. Let’s celebrate the victories. My heart was full this past week as we gathered around the Christmas tree with the kids at the Cure Children’s Hospital in Blantyre, Malawi while talking about Jesus. Each child was presented a Bible with devotional studies for their families to participate as they learn about God. In 2025 we will have a larger intake of children at the hospital, increasing to 200 kids per week. We are asking God to send resources to expand the hospital. Pray with us as we prepare to touch the lives of the children. Thank you to all who are sending resources to keep up the supply of the Bibles presented to all families throughout the year. We need to double up on our giving to be ready to bless all families with Bibles. As I write this, I am preparing alongside the teaching team to minister on December 25 to the street kids at Steka House.
I just returned from the planning trips with the leaders in Zimbabwe and Zambia. The pre-planning is in motion and the programs will be presented in May. Pray with us as the leaders team up to welcome all who will attend and teach. Pray for all resources to be released. Pray for good deals on flight tickets to visit Zululand in March and Zimbabwe and Zambia in May. Pray for persons of peace in the following nations: Namibia, Lesotho, Seychelles, Zanzibar, Comoros, Reunion, and Northern Madagascar. Pray for the resources being developed and all provisions to accomplish all tasks.
This is also a time to reset for us to build strengths and skills for ministry in 2025. Recently, a workshop on Mental Health was facilitated with a guest from the United States, Jennifer Ruben. All worked out in good timing as I enrolled to take 30-hour classes in developing as a Mental Health Ambassador.
I’ve also recently began a Christian creativity course in learning how to use AI to tell the Gospel Story. It challenged my mind, but I accomplished attending classes to the end. Now, for 15 minutes a day, I practice being creative and growing in using the tools. Similarly, I am currently working my way through Biblical Law Degree study sessions. It is so perfectly in time to understand much more about the purpose of the law.
As we embrace 2025 and partnering in His Mission, let’s do it with thanksgiving in our hearts. Let’s reach goals and embrace new opportunities as God opens the doors. Thank you for your prayer and support.
Season's greetings,
Many Blessings,
Althea Meyer
