On The Field
It is quite a joy to be back on the mission field after spending such a long time stateside. We were released and we had a safe trip to Tanzania, arriving here on August 17th, 2016. Thank God for traveling mercies.
The Ebenezer church is doing well and the work is going on well. We still need your prayers for our Resident Permit process to be completed.
Unfinished Churches
Soon we will be working on the roofing of the church in Singida, Central Tanzania. We wish to thank those who contributed to this project.
We have two more churches that need roofing: one is in Dodoma, Central Tanzania (Project #12509P), which needs $8,000; the second is in Kilimanjaro, North Eastern Tanzania, which needs $5,000. If you would like to help roofing this church please send your contributions to the Tanzania Church Planting fund (Project #12006P).
We also are still in need of funds to put windows, doors, and floors in the two churches we built in 2014. Kimamba Church Project (#12504P) needs $8,000 and Kilosa Church Project (#12505P) needs $7,000.
IPHC-TZ Center
Just after we landed here, the Lord put a desire in me for building a permanent church building at the IPHC-TZ Center where the Ebenezer temporary church is. The temporary structure is worn out and it is time for a new structure here.
We have the drawings ready and we are working on getting the legal government permits to begin construction. Our members are excited and everyone sees this as an opportune time. You will hear more about this in our next newsletter.
My Health:
As many of you have been praying for my health, the Lord has been good to me to strengthen me for the work He called me to do. I have been standing to teach and preach almost every Sunday since we arrived here.
I am still doing dialysis twice a week on Tuesdays and Fridays. It takes about an hour to drive to the dialysis center and an hour back because of too much traffic. I feel good and strong. Thank you so very much for your prayers for us; surely we couldn’t make it without you holding us up.
Appreciation:
As we look back through this year, we are grateful that you have been there for us as we went through the valley of the shadow of death. Thank you for supporting us financially and prayerfully. Thank you for helping our faith to be steadfast in the Lord. We greatly appreciate your partnership with us in missions. We are here because of your support. Thank you.
For those who would like to partner with us, please send your contribution to project #12041S. Please remember: “A Missions Partner is a Miracle Candidate”!
