Dear Mission Partner,
It is with great joy and gratitude to be able to greet you once again in 2019. Blessed be the name of the Lord. I hope you had a good Holiday Season. I pray you will have a prosperous year in 2019, and enjoy all the blessings which God has in store for you and your loved ones.
Ministry Is Going On
PTP Feeding the Hungry
I started the Feeding Program on the first Saturday of December 2018 and it has been going very well. The first Saturday, which was December first, we served 37 plates and the last Saturday of the same month we served 97 plates.
Travels
December 7-9, I was able to travel and visit some churches in Morogoro at places called Kimamba, Kilosa, Mvumi, Dakawa, and Peapea. The last two, Dakawa and Peapea, are new churches which began in 2018. They do not have buildings, but they meet under the shade.
The Dakawa pastor had a structure for the church, but it rained heavily one night, at the end of December, and the building fell. The Peapea congregation meets under a shade that is built by just straw.
Unfinished Churches
There are four churches which Dr. Mrema was building but were not finished yet when he went home. These churches are Ebenezer in Dar-es-Salaam, Kimamba, Kilosa, and Mvumi, all in Morogoro. I will need $17,500 to finish these buildings.
Appreciation
Thank you Sout Carolina Conference (SCC) Mission Director Dean Morgan, and all SCC church mission directors for raising funds for these buildings during the 2018 GO meetings. May the Lord richly bless you all. I appreciate all the prayers and the financial support received from you. I am always encouraged knowing there are friends like you praying for me. Please pray that I will get a good vehicle for the work in Tanzania. I am still in transition into this new phase of my life and the ministry, so pray that I will not miss the leading of the Holy Spirit. Thank you again.
Please remember, “A Mission partner is a miracle candidate.”
Blessings,
Yasinta Mrema
