GREETINGS FROM TANZANIA EAST AFRICA.
Dear mission partner,
I hope this letter finds you doing well by the grace of God. God has been so good to me this past quarter of the year, 2020. I have had an issue with bacteria in my stomach since May, but now I am completely healed by God’s grace. I thank God for touching my body.
Another concern was my work and residence permits (Visa). I sent my application on February 14, 2020. However, I did not hear anything on the matter until May 27, and the response was; “Application rejected.” My visa had already expired on March 12. There were some reasons given for the rejection, but they were not really basic reasons.
On June 25, 2020, we sent an appeal to respond to the letter, which showed those three reasons. In August 2020, I received my work and residence permits. PTL! The Tanzania government requires every foreigner working in Tanzania to renew their visa every two years.
Due to COVID-19 and the visa issues, I stopped the ministry of PTP Feeding the Hungry. However, we are starting back on October 3.
There was another big blessing: the arrival of my second grandbaby, Michelle Pendo Mrema, who was born on July 9, 2020. I thank God for His many blessing. I can’t count them all! I know, without a doubt, that all these blessings came my way because of your prayers.
There was a time that I didn’t know what to do, but one night the Lord showed up and gave me a letter in a dream. This letter had all three explanations of the letter I was supposed to write to the Ministry of Labour for the appeal of my work permit. I woke up in the middle of the night, trembling, and I wrote it down. That was the letter we sent to receive my work permit. I thank God for His faithfulness.
Thank you, thank you, thank you, so very much for your prayers and your monthly financial support. May God bless you and your loved ones abundantly in every area of your life.
Yasinta Mrema
