MEMORIES ARE FOR REFLECTION
Greetings Beloved! We trust all is going well. This year, Phyllis and I celebrate our fiftieth wedding anniversary. But it is not the only fiftieth we celebrate, because it is also 50 years of knowing Him. Phyllis and I got married in our pastor's living room on March 20, 50 years ago. It seems just like yesterday. Now, with four kids, five grandkids, and me, Phyllis has her hands full!
UPDATES FROM THE FIELD
Mexico
Last year, 22 students became the first generation to graduate from Holmes Bible College Mexico Annex. This April, we will celebrate the graduation of our second generation of 26 students, with the third and fourth generations already on the books. There is not enough space to share the plans in the making, but it is sufficient to say that laborers are being prepared for the ongoing harvest. Praise the Lord!
This year, for the annual IPAR Conference, we are blessed to have World Missions Ministries’ Rev. Talmage Gardner as our main speaker, among others. Everyone is excited and looking forward to the meetings.
Guatemala
In the month of February I attended their yearly conference. After 24 years we have new leadership. The last superintendent served faithfully, and now a new generation has stepped up and is ready to run the race.
Missions - 14 New Churches
I ministered twice while overseeing the election process in Guatemala. While there, 14 established pastors stood to their feet to commit to planting one new church each between this year and the next. 14 new churches this time next year – that is the mission.
Itineration and Great Commission Meals
Phyllis and I have been holding meetings, attending mission meals, and meeting with pastors and partners since February. We have enjoyed seeing old friends and acquaintances; however, our hearts are on the field.
We believe we are living in the last days. Our assumption is that everyone can at least agree we are passing through some strange times.
PHYL'S WORLD: GREETINGS
We are on furlough, which gives us time to visit with family, friends, and partners. These grandbabies are growing so fast. This is Hendrick. He is super cute, just like his older brother and cousins. I’m biased, I know. But still, he is cute. We terribly miss the family, kids, and grandbabies at times.
We are experiencing harvest on our field. Time is short, God is good, and you are appreciated.
Love and Blessings, Phyllis
IN CLOSING
Your prayers and financial giving help us help others; plain and simple. You are a vital part of all that we do. Your faithful monthly support helps us stay on the field. Together, we can all do our part in the harvest of the most valuable item today – the souls of mankind. We are privileged!
Time waits for no one. Forward we go. Thank you, Jesus!
Blessings,
Ron & Phyllis Roy
